Any opinion pertaining to difficulty maintaining a solid GPA? Is it difficult to maintain a solid GPA like a 3.8 like in humanities at the UofRochester? I heard it doesn’t have grade inflation but it doesn’t have deflation either.

@@autummb4191 uofr is a fantastic school! i unfortunately had to transfer due to expenses and covid thought. would highly recommend, but know that their tuition is very expensive due to being a private uni

Hi Yujin! You are so sweet! Thank you very much for your effort in making this video. My younger brother is an incoming international freshman this fall, and I am a little bit nervous. My university dorms have a small microwave and a small fridge in each room, but I don't think that U of R dorms have either microwave or fridge, right? Do you think that it's necessary when living in U of R? In addition, is there any Target/Walmart/CVS/etc. near the school? And can you tell me more about the shuttle bus or any public transportation at U of R? Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi Yujin, thank you so, much for the video, it was really helpful. I signed up for a interview with URochester and I’m really nervous but I’m sure it will be fine. I have a question, I’m from NYC and I’m a introvert will I have things to do on campus? I won’t be having a car so will that limit my transportation choices? Are the people there nice? Will I fit in even though I’m a little shy?

hey george! there's defin not that much to do compared to nyc BUT there are small events hosted by clubs around campus that people enjoy attending :). We also have college town nearby that's around 20 min walking distance or you can take the U of R shuttle bus! Not having a car can be annoying but U of R has shuttle buses that can take you to certain places and ubering/taking a friend's car are also options! I personally thought that the people at u of r are really nice and I wouldn't worry about not making friends if you're an introvert. I'm an introvert and a lot of people that I know who are introverts are able to fit in just fine! Everyone finds their group of friends:)

風大，雪大之外我是覺得都還不錯。暑假的時候Rochester其實還算是有蠻多的活動能參考，校區裡的人也都算親切。缺點的話就是真的很不方便，尤其是PhD的四到六年我是建議直接買車了(能找大四的華人買三手車) 除此之外大部分KZbinR都不會說的就是過河的區域(19th Ward)真他媽的危險。。。去年還從河裡漂出了屍體 Source: 4 years of undergrad (Class of 2020)
