I came to Canada as a student in Jan 2015, almost ten years ago. It was the same year that the Express Entry for PR process was officially launched. The real moral of this vlog is do not compare yourself with anyone - A friend once told me that the longer you stay in Canada, the better it gets for everyone (provided you are improving on yourself daily) -. Yes, he was correct when he made that comment about 6 or 7 years ago. I was working in a call centre, but today, I work as a Business Analyst Consultant for a crown corporation (Crown corporations are partly owned by the Federal government and partly by the private sector). I bought my first home last year. I just recently got a 2024 Grand Highlander, to the glory of God. This is not to brag but to also let people know that - You can succeed in Canada. Lastly, I loved it when Tomi said don't come to Canada for money and own a business - I relocated because I wanted a working system for my family but more importantly I wanted that Canadian Passport. And finally, I got my Canadian Passport May this year - the money is truly the icing on the cake. Having lived in the UK for almost 2yrs, I got used to a working system, so 9ja was no longer an option because I loved my sanity. Lastly, no matter how much you earn starting a business helps you save on taxes - I started a business as an Independent Insurance Broker with over ten advisors in my agency - The truth is the opportunities are plenty. Just do the right thing and be patient.

You’re right Tomi, moving in as a PR is the sure thing to do. Relocating on a Student Visa or Work Visa is EXPENSIVE!!! You will spend a lot from your purse. Talking from true life experience. Lots of benefits to enjoy as a PR.

Yes she is right, but there are small towns in ontario. I would rather say don't go in a big city like ottawa, toronto, mississauga or else. London ont. is a small city houses are affordable and Yes the climat is different from NB.

A lot of the young guys below 30 or 35 have the skills(some with phd’s) but they are unemployed. Yes PR is the surest option but they can’t use that route cos it is a point based skilled WORKERS program. The point system do not favour the average young guy deciding to relocate that’s why they choose the school route cos it’s a little bit faster and straightforward not forgetting that individuals have unique circumstances and peculiar conditions.

Guys every country which you migrate to is difficult to start. You can make it if you are focused; see what makes my life better; go to do a trade; skill, you will survive anywhere. There is no money on streets or free. These countries are wired differently; so how do Canadians live there! Just be focused and study; Rome was not built in a day. Good luck
