Y'all mistook this video.. it's not meant to be I strongly hate these things, it's only dislike them 😭 Like if someone lights my candle I'm holding out in that room I won't actually get angry, just slightly annoyed. The only thing on this list I HATE is the spamming music over people's nice music, because that's suuppeer annoying. Also like everyone has different opinions, I didn't say "Things user4593454 Wishes Sky Kids Would Stop", so like, great, you disagree with something on the list? How hypocritical of you to tell people to leave your moth outside the 8 player door. You where a moth at one point as well, they have to learn, just the way you did yourself. If people don't have the patience for moths i don't think it's the game for you. Just appreciate skys growing playerbase, it's important to the games survival and evolution

It's only when moths are brought in by guides and not told how to use it it's annoying. It's fine if they actually unlock the area themselves because most of the time in that case they'll have played for long enough to understand the function :)

its weird that some sky players get so touchy about lighting people up... i'm a veteran, been here since day 1 and even as the years go by, i'll never understand this behaviour. someone wants to see the cool outfit you put a ton of time and effort into!! thats sweet, not annoying 😭

Veteran here too! Sometimes I just wanna be left completely alone while I play so I don’t light others up and use a dnd spell, sometimes when I don’t light people up they get super aggressive and mean and at that point I’m definitely not going to light them up

I'm also a veteran just like you, and when moths or new players in general light me and see the fancy outfit, they always try to add me without even putting in the slightest effort to atleast get to know me, so eventually I stopped wanting to light people all together.

I always thought that deep honking in the 8 person room helps to reset the server and bring people in. When i just wait its like no one shows up but when I deep call a bit it fills the room.

​@@thatskymouseThis is not a theory. in practice, it works so that when you are honking a lot, the game understands that you now need the help of other players, so you are thrown to another server with players in this area / players from more empty servers are thrown to you. so it really helps, and it can be endured x)

Absolute fact. I always try to help out people I see dying; but then one day: I was collecting flybois in hidden forest, the last area, when I see the death symbol. I rush over from a tree mushroom (I was struggling) and see them sitting at a bank, beeping - beeping as in to get attention- and lit their candle. Gave a good 30 seconds so they had wiggle room to run it fly. They bow and proceed to walK INTO A MINI POND UNTIL DEATH. How is this kinda thing not on the list?

pretty much everything exept the part on music is what makes the game fun, appreciate new players enjoying the game, not everybody will have a experienced player by their side to speedrun the game without the fun part of exploring, if you get frustered by the 8player area just stop going there yourself instead of wanting to gatekeep it from new players it's common sense to me. Anyway in theory this area could be done as 4player since you can each light 2 of the mecanism so just light theirs if you're not patient enought

number 1 : we deep honk for people outside there can hear us? BIG NO. it's for who in a different server making us in the same server, so we will have 8 persons there. FYI, there are a lot of shared memory of deep honking at that place. and guess? it always works. number 5 : of course I will try to help if the situation really support me to help. BUT, sometimes I don't have chance to light up those who get krilled. stop blaming people, this world not spinning only around you.

hi! I understand that this is your opinion. Well I also have my own opinion on the krill part. It's nice when someone wants to help you, but if they don't help, don't take it against them because there are various reasons why they can't help, maybe they're just new to the game, maybe they are also afraid of krills, and etc. To put it simply, I just want to say, you cannot control other sky kid's action on how they will play. But what you can control is how you play YOUR OWN game. for instance, when I go to wasteland, if there are no people who can help me charge my wing power, I always bring my fire torch to charge my own light. Though it's very nice of you to share things so that players will be aware and can improve Sky. However at the end of the day, you can't adjust the wind but you can adjust your sails. Hii I know you didn’t mean to be grumpy lol but here’s my point of view : 1 :some moth won’t learn if you don’t teach them so someone teaching a moth isn’t bad lol 2:music depends on the person,I personally love when someone join me when I’m playing music, if the person run away you just stop 3:some sky kid are afraid of krill and losing wl ,when I get attack and lose wl even if I don’t have a way to escape or a spell to help me ,even if someone is flying near by ,I’m a grown up person so I just go home and then come back ,easier ,faster,no more die. The real thing to stop in sky it’s the sky kid in wasteland who get krilled on purpose just to bring them to you ! All the other things can be avoided or can try to escape from it lol.

To be honest, most of this stuff sounds very nit picky, since you can control most of these problems. Dying in wasteland? Teleport home. Honking’s getting annoying? Turn the volume down. People wanting to light you? Just ignore them. Personally, I don’t find these annoying because I’m used to them at this point. And no, I’m not saying you should stop complaining or anything, it’s your opinion and that’s cool, but these problems are easy to fix, so at least you can do something about them. The only thing I agree with is the music spamming, that’s annoying and disrespectful to the person playing. Also, I don’t wanna come off as rude, but uh, the part where you said to “leave your moths out the door” sounds like you’re calling them pets, like leaving your dog outside in front of a cafe that doesn’t allow pets. I’m not saying you meant that or that was your intention, but uh, yeah, that’s what it sounded like to me 😅

when i see ppl doing sheets of music, im usually joining them with another instrument, because i love the feeling to do a little concert. But yeah i can get the idea that some people just want to be left alone. So if i see the person running away, i usually just respect that and leaves them alone. But I had some really sweet moments with strangers doing music together :D

I would like players to stop being AFK for hours for the same reason, taking up space on the servers, this makes it difficult for us to TP our friends because sometimes there are AFK players on their servers and they are filling up the place. I'm not against AFK players, sometimes we have to close the game to do something, but when there's no reason, it kind of gets in the way a little, but at least we have the nests now, many players spend time AFK in the nest, without taking up space on other servers.

But they never seem upset by it, so I assume they’re okay with me doing it. If they want me to stop tho, I’ll stop cuz I don’t wanna annoy them hehe. Omg yes on the butterfly room, I don't know what's up with that room and the way it just makes players seem to forget how to even play the game sometimes but every time I go in there when candle running it I question if it's even worth it. It's the dying - deep honking for help - ignored or misunderstood as a random call is the one that really hurts me lol I was once running out of light in one part of hidden forest, (was a moff at the time) and I am desperate in need for light 😭 (there are no shared memory or anything in sight lmao) then that's when I learned how you can lose wings lol I was really traumatized with that 🙂‍↔️

I hear this a lot about honking in the 8 player room - deep calling DOES NOT in any way “help the servers merge” - that is not how servers/technology works. This was a myth perpetuated god knows when by god knows who. It is NOT a thing. 😂 Every time I go in the 8 player room I immediately shut sky music and sounds off so as to not hear multiple sky kids spam honking. And right now we have a lot of pc moths just starting sky so that area is gonna be a bit rough. 😅

I think a lot of people here are missing the point of the candle lighting part, if it’s an accident or if they request it that’s fine but FORCIBLY lighting someone’s candle is just rude, there’s so many reasons why someone might not want their candle to be lit so if they decline just leave them alone!
