Samus weighs more because they were lazy with her design... give get mediocre attacks that barely make sense and a big gun make her floaty but heavy. I envision her more like the pit (s) with grapples for close combat and fast movement. Remember the suit improves her abilities not hinders them. They make zss seem like she is better without the suit...

As Pikmin 1 shows, he has limited air supply =b it just should take him 30 days to drown. Also, he can't swim, since you blow up if you reach the bottom, it makes since you'd exhaust yourself to stay on top. This is made worse for Samus, as her armour is far more heavy than Olimar's spacesuit.

3:14 *Debunked* Little mac having one of the best wall jumps in the game actually makes sense considering that boxers push the floor with their legs while punching to increase the strength of their blows. Ideally this is also the reason why Little Mac's running speed is very fast (because of leg power) and it also serves to increase his recovery options.

Luigi being unable to wall jump makes sense in that whenever he is a unique character (rather than just a skin for Mario), he can't. For example, each character in Mario 64 for the Nintendo DS introduces yoshi, mario, wario, and luigi as four playable characters, and each has their own unique ability. Mario's unique power is that he's the only one that can walljump

If we want to get technical, some turtles can absorb oxygen through blood vessels around their butt while in water, if the oxygen content is high enough they can stay underwater indefinitely. Amphibians can also absorb oxygen, whether outside water or in water, through their skin, if oxygen content is high enough they too can stay underwater indefinitely. Also, amphibians have gills while tadpoles, and some such as the axolotl keep their gills through adulthood. But these are Pokemon and I'm nitpicking.

To prove my point, there are pokemon who carry speed stats that do not match their speed of movement, such as Electrode being a speed demon in game despite only being able to roll around in the anime, or Aerodactyl despite only being able to fly around like a bird, or even Suicune being slow af in game but in the movies we see that Suicune is extremely quick to travel very long distances. So my point still stands, speed stat ≠ movement speed.

Things like character sizes for villains make sense. They need to shrink certain characters so they don’t feel wrong in the game. If characters like K. Rool, Ridley, and Bowser were there actual size they’d be to big for the game. Same goes for smaller characters like Kirby, Pichu, and Olimar, they’d be almost untouchable by most of the cast
