My boy was 19 lbs, was very smart, would think things before acting. He was very cautious about a new situation and would hide under the bed when a stranger would come in. Let any bug crawl and would just watch. Was very sensitive and would sit in a corner with his back to us if his feelings were hurt. He was well loved and I still miss him.

We have a MC male cross that was returned to the shelter twice. He was not in good shape mentally but over the last couple of years he has come out of his shell. Now he is just an ordinary MC and gets LOTS of love and attention. He seems to have forgotten his past and is probably the cat with the most personality we have ever had. Smart, affectionate, and turns out a good hunter. We live in an old house and have always had a mouse problem. That is no longer an issue. His trills and meows all indicate something different and all I have to do is show him the grooming brush and he is THERE. He is such a happy boy now. MCs like outdoor and we have a backyard. He will go out and hunt for a couple of hours but oddly he never leaves the yard although he could easily. Such an amazing cat and we definitely enjoy his company.

What cat would you reccomend that is very affectionate and loves to snuggle but doesn’t have the more likeliness to get hcm like a maine coon or ragdoll
