@@prototypeversionofmrcyberb8317 after completing the purely required missions you get like 300k dollars if you're not generous If you pass the game 100% you're garuanteed to become millionaire 7 times brah The most expensive thing in game is 25 thou for a rocketlauncher at army base, there's absolutely no need for money in game after you pass a certain point I literally the other day passed all side missions (that were opened to me) on all three islands without actually having both bridges fixed and got 5 mil 5 mil in Portland man!

I am a hardcore vanilla player and changing radio from gta 3 to LCS variants was a really cool touch (yeah, time is different, but it was surpringly fitting, especially for me when i remember every line of radio dialogue in game), sadly i wasn't able to port LCFR in place of Chatterbox And i also installed LCS wheels. I'm stupid attached to original GTA 3 PC release, and it's wheels (monster Tire profile for the sports cars looks funky as hell, and the taxi and police car (and lots more cars) wheels are literally my child hood, seriously), but the quality is really on point and it fits just right in the game I was trying to mess with timecyc files (i bet brta or LCS timecyc would look beautiful in GTA 3) and car models but it's kinda difficult and too much files and installing for me Not to mention there's an awesome mod that makes GTA 3+ : Xbox props and textures and effects. It's kinda on a heavy side i, can't run it, but if i could, i'd rock that thing, it's an awesome mod

Honestly, I don't see how having no fly-able planes is a downside. Just remember how bloody infuriating every flying mission was in the following GTA games. Also, the longest time I managed to fly with the DODO plane was about 2 or 3 seconds, never managed to keep the horrible thing in the air :D And by the way, GTA 3 is still a pretty awesome game imho :)

the map was in the box when you bought the game from the store on the CD. It was very detailed and you could navigate old school: park on the side, open the map in rl, try to find some landmarks and remember which curves you took, then try to find best way to your destination and continue driving. I liked it. Gave you more immersion

At least the PC version had a paper map bundled with the game. I've always preferred exploring the city by myself instead of relying on a map, paper or ingame. The lack of in game map never bothered me in GTA3. The islands are relatively small, and for the 2 first, relatively flat, with almost no impassable obstacles like rivers or highways Most of the times you can just follow the radar, drive from point a to b without having to worry about navigating the city. Shoreside vale is much harder to navigate, especially because of the river in the middle and the multiple bridges. Here you can't drive from point A to be without getting stuck. But it's the last island, at this point you should be familiarized with the game, and you don't spend much time here anyway. Vice city is pretty much similar to GTA3. i've never used the ingame map. In san andreas and hd era the cities became so large and complex you can't play without the map The 2d era games are another can of worms in terms of navigation. Every block looks the same, there is little landmarks and the maps are full of obstacles. Even with a paper map near your sceen its hard to navigate

If you bought Gta 3 on PC or PS2 when it first came out it came with an instruction manual and a poster on the reverse side of the poster there was a map . I bought Gta 3 PS2 second hand and I was lucky it came with the poster/map . Also you can search for it on Google and get a print out .

What about custom skins? You can make your own skins in GTA3 and the net's full of awesome ones as well, so you can make Claude wear pretty much whatever you want him to. That's far superior to what GTA SA, IV and V offer you. I honestly hate the clothes they gave us in V. Everything that actually looks good is exclusive to Online, that's a big shame, imo. And you can also restore health by hijacking an ambulance or picking up a streetwalker.
