You know that scene in Smokey & the Bandit where they jump off that bridge? That was filmed right here in Denton County. That Bandit is a Texas Legend!

Can relate to Matt on last scene. Except I google actors and then share their bios to my husband during the movie. 🤣

@@samiam619 No. I don't even own a TV. Not worth it to pay for cable or a streaming service if I rarely watch it. The only thing I watch is college football.

" u think she's pretty" ... we hear that at the movies...in the grocery...at the laundromat....at the bar...in the library.. at the bowling alley...laying on a table in the operating room..on our death bed with 5 minutes left to live...in the afterlife...etc etc

My grandmother asks what the people are saying during the movie. Even though their are subtitles on the movie. She can hear very well. She also likes to ask me what is happening in a movie. Even if neither of us have seen it before. Living in Georgia. A lot of movies where filmed there. I lived in Cherokee County, Georgia for 13 1/2 years. I lived in the same town as Chandler Riggs. That was the kid who was Carl in the Walking Dead.

Wrong. The bridge jumping scene in Smokey and the Bandit was filmed at a bridge over the Flint River in Jonesboro, in Clayton County. Not in Fulton County.

@@rickscandon Yep. Guys I knew built the ramps. The car was going too fast and never touched the ramp on the far side. The car crashing onto the ball field was in Redan, GA about a quarter mile from my house. My friends and I sat through the movie multiple times just so we could spot the local places we recognized.
@righttorecord35383 жыл бұрын
@@dukebuck Nope. It was at Flint River Crossing, Jonesboro, Clayton County. Google it. I know it was there because guys I knew built the ramps, installed them there, watched the filming there, and then removed the ramps from there.

Not just a southern thing. Anyone who was a kid when the first two Toy Stories were around cried at the end of the third movie. I, at the time mid-20s, pretty much almost had a panic attack at the incinerator scene.
