You need to fly pretty high to see them. If you never encounter Quetzal, I recommend visit Red Obelisk. That place is one of few Quetzal spawn point. But again, fly pretty high to see it since Ark mobile isn’t working like Ark Pc, for PC, you can see creatures far away. In mobile, many limits make creature only visible when you’re near them (in render range). Another thing that you might’ve encountered Quetzal already, but you didn’t notice it. It was same for me, i was flying near Red Obelis with my Argy, and heard very loud, strange sound of flying creature who is flapping their wings. I looked above and saw Quetzal. Another time that I didn’t hear the wing flapping sounds, but i see the shadow of it while i was flying near the ground, and it happened at Red Obelisk too.
