0:11 Disassemble the set and submerge it in warm soapy water(dove dish soap) for 5 minutes. Grab a new toothbrush and some more soap and scrub the pieces until it comes off. Rinse the parts and let them air dry. It should come off. This is pretty common. Edit: Also some issues with play features can be due to a build up of dust, so do the same with the starfighter. At this point, I recommend you disassemble and wash all of your sets. Dusting will only do so much and will just spread it.

1:30 I know this is a Star Wars video but I got a Batman set 76159 and it was already opened the mini figures built and stickers attached only problem is robins cape went missing due to the box being pre opened. My conclusion I think some one at amazon must open every 1000 sets or 100 sets to make sure every things there and not have any thing illegal in side or it could be a test set from lego I really don’t know. One upside is I hate stickers(I can never put them on right) so it already being there was a blessing I guess

I think they only care about what will make them the most money. Adding more mini-figures to sets costs money and they know people are still going to buy the sets with or without those figures (despite how much we beg for them). It’s a bit sad, but that’s how business works. It’s just not in their best interest to do some of that stuff.

One of my main gripes with getting old lego including my favourite classic lego clones is sometimes if I buy them used on bricklink, they might have worn print and just look like crap. I have a whole platoon of slightly bad quality or too used to be good classic clones and they all suck. So I'm just gonna either let them collect dust in zip lock bags or sit on a baseplate in my glass cabinet contributing nothing to my collection at all. You should rant about print wears or scratches next time, those trigger me always.

I feel your pain regarding LEGOes and dust. I personally gave up dusting my sets. Each time I tried, pieces falled off. And I don't want to rebuild them each time I'm cleaning them off. Why does the biggest sets are also the most fragile ? WHY ?
