Fun fact! Rex was originally going to be Alpha-17, one of the original ARC troopers from the old darkhorse comics. He got his current name because there was already Anakin and Ashoka. His characterization in the early first season/movie was still effectively a kid friendly Alpha 17.

the utapau battlepack wasnt the first time we got 212th troopers- that award goes to the umbaran MHC from the previous year, which had a 212th trooper in the clone wars style

I actually changed the flick missiles on the Octuptarra to its cannons and optics, I sadly don’t have the tan dome but have something similar on it, really looking forward to a huge version in the future. As for Cody, they did a great job with him. But I think he should have gotten a new visor piece (which I don’t personally mind the current one but I know some do). I can could do without arm printing since I think the orange arms look nice (and I have a soft spot for the arms color coded with battalion), and I think a jet pack piece would just be a cool thing to have. But overall, they did a great job with him, really hope they make a Imperial version of him in a Bad Batch set.

The headhunter was always, and will always be my favorite set. I'm still salty that I lost the pilot's helmet, which was my favorite part of the set, but I still love the build.

I'm alright with the current commander cody figure I'm not sure how they would have pulled off the thing on his shoulder though, but that's a detail I can forgive Lego for now including. I'll just say that I wish we got a new mold for the visor on Cody's helmet, but I still think he's a great figure!

I hate the new Clone Helmets alltogether. The curvature of the helmet is just a bit off compared to the old 501st clone helmets. In Addition the holes and "misprints" are not great either

In my opinion, the 2022 AT-TE is the best one out of all of the rest I’m still not a fan of the printing on the 212th clone troopers helmets but I don’t really care about the helmets being printed wrong 10/10 for the AT-TE.

To be completely honest I don't agree with the "we have to be thankful we even got commander cody this year" approach. I mean, a toy company sells a popular character figure (almost guaranteed to sell well) and we have to kiss their feet even if it is not great? They did the bare minimum with level of detail to maximize the money, because they know we fans will buy it anyway. No new visor, no jetpack, no arm printing. Why bother.
