The Halloween dress ups look EPIC! I would love to see Japanese dress up for this event. I would love to eat the giant Taiyaki.. that's outta this world. Mmmm so good! I remember eating 2 giant ones in Tokyo and feeling sick after. Still worth it. That's a great lineup of events for October! Great time to visit Japan.

Cheers, Tina. For such a recently recognised holiday in Japan, they really know how to do Halloween. USJ is so good over Halloween! I'd love to get a piece of that giant taikyaki too. 🤤

Halloween Horror Nights is amazing! As for the typhoon we'll see. I don't plan on reporting every time we have one since they're common occurrence here.

Most likely I'll be in Osaka. Let me know if you guys are planning on coming to Osaka. If not, I could maybe make the trip to Tokyo. 😁

I would definitely like to see the Jidai and Miyazaki Festival. As well as the Otsu Hikiyama Festival, but with the dates a bit far apart, I don't think I'll get to see some of the earlier festivals. What is everyone's most favourite festivals?
@linnyunt
@linnyunt 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it's hard to see all the festivals in Japan, even if you live in Japan your whole life. Jidai is cool to see for the costume but the Otsu Hikiyama Festival is seriously impressive stuff. I'm going to release a vlog on it some time in the future. However, Awa Odori is my absolute favourite festival. I also have a vlog on that one.

Hi Lin! Chris here. You have a great channel. I would love to come to the Kasuga shrine festival October 13 and 14th it would be very exciting to see these epic floats or shrines battle each other out! So how much do you think it would cost to get a round-trip ticket from St. louis, Missouri? LOL I enjoy your channel very much keep posting God bless.

Hi Chris, thanks so much for the lovely compliments. I'm happy to hear you get value from my content. Those festivals do look good, don't they? But if you are serious about visiting Japan, I think you'd have an amazing time. Have a good one.

Dear Lin thank you so much for your gorgeous videos. I have the plan to go to Japan this year 2022 end of September and beginning of October. I am a bit concern about the weather, if these months are ok to go ahead with my family. Please would you be kind to give me a little comment on that? I would really appreciate it! Thanks Martin

Sorry I forgot to say I’ll be in Kanto/Tokyo area thx 🙏
@linnyunt

That time of year is typhoon season for Japan but you never know if one might hit or not at all during the time you're booked for. If a typhoon does approach, it might even bypass Kanto. You just never know. The good news is that the weather is cooler than during the peak of Japan's extremely humid summer.

Suggestion for future videos, talk a little faster. If you play this video at 1.25x speed the flow is much better than normal.
