Today, we are going to make an incredible visit to the city of Mérida! Located in southern Spain, it is the capital of the autonomous community of Extremadura. With about 62,500 inhabitants, Mérida is one of the most cultural and historical cities in the country, known for its incredible Roman treasures in an excellent state of preservation.
During our visit, I will show you what to do, the main attractions and prices to make the most of this city rich in history. We will start by exploring the Roman Theatre and Amphitheater, built even before Christ! These impressive structures transport us back to the times of the Roman Empire.
Next, I will introduce you to other fascinating buildings such as the House of the Amphitheater, the Roman Forum, the Theater of Diana, and the Alcazaba. Each of these sites has a unique story to tell and allows us to experience the splendor of Roman civilization.
