Happy 2018! Isn't there a better way to start the year with? I'm curious: which trips have you planned in 2018?

Thanks - it was indeed a great fit and fun traveling with Gareth, I love his concept of slow travel (even though it was hard to apply in our 2 weeks in Iceland).

Hello Steve! This is another absolutely worth seeing video of you. With the northern lights, we were lucky in September. Great if you can experience it. LG Jörg

I recently watched your Patagonia series, and I'm totally in love with both it and Patagonia. I have wanted to travel there since I was 15 (16 now :/ ) and when I'm done with school I want to backpack there for about 3 to 4 weeks. Have you got any tips for what I should take with me and how I should plan my sleeping places etc. I'm really liking the videos, keep up the good work! Btw, have you ever thought about going to Norway or Sweden?
@BackPackerSteve6 жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel - great plan, keep focussing on it and it'll happen. I was dreaming to go to Iceland for years and just now I was finally able to do it. At the end of the series we filmed an own video dedicated to Iceland travel tips/preparation, this will answer your question for sure! I have been to Norway before my KZbin days but want to go back for some serious outdoor adventures paired with another road trip. Sweden is one of the few countries in Europe I haven't been yet..but I slowly visit all the northern countries as the landscape is just so beautiful!

BackPacker Steve Thanks for reacting! I'd love to visit Norway aswell someday, from what I've seen the landscape is so beautiful. I went to Denmark a few years ago with my parents but due to bad weather and them not wanting to hike a lot we didn't see much of the beautiful landscape, which is sad. However a year ago we wrnt to Austria and that was my absolute favourite place that I've been to, to this date. It was so beautiful there. Do you think you'll go to Austria to film?

I've been a few times already and will be heading there in a few days as it is close to my home & I love to ski! kzbin.info/www/bejne/oquaZZ6ng8iVmqM

BackPacker Steve Im also going in a 2 weeks. I started snowboarding in the summer of 2016 (we have an indoor place to ski near my town) and I instantly fell in love with it. The views in Austria make it even better though haha

We went at the end of October/beginning of November! ;)

how long does the sun shine during the day? :)
@BackPackerSteve6 жыл бұрын
Depends on the time of year - in summer it never sets, in winter it is dark most of the time. We where there at the end of October/beginning of November when you have around 7-8h of daylight...a good combination!
