Las Vegas is most popular during summer, and despite the heat, it still does not stop tourists from visiting. There's so many things you can do to keep cool however, whether you stay inside the hotels and casinos or join some sort of pool. Choose wisely when looking for what hotel to stay in, as the pool is going to be a very important part of your stay. In this episode I will be taking you to a fun winter bar, then off to Cosmopolitan pool series for their pool movies on Mondays, then over to a dayclub, and finally a night museum. Make sure to pack the sunscreen and bring lots of water. Hope you like it!

@@saltlakesnowbunny3051 the strip was much cleaner, as far as the resorts, because I feel they took more pride in the beauty of them instead of focusing on the profits. Well, Steve Wynn built a few of them if that says anything, nothing less than perfection. There wasn't all the CVS and Walgreens on every corner and none of those kiosks or crappy food places crammed in every space possible. I feel like you can't see the beauty anymore through all the stuff they built up around the resorts. There weren't homeless sleeping on the sidewalks and the diriest thing was just the little cards that they handed out. The food and shows were affordable, and there was free parking everywhere, including valet. I really miss the classiness of oldtime Vegas and the feeling of not getting nickel and dimed every time I turn around. I really wish they would bring back the Rio that was there 27 years ago. It had the Masquerade in the Sky show, that was so much fun, and the best buffet ever.

Hi Norma…. Really enjoy your videos. Now, from 1996 - 2008, I went to Las Vegas over 40 times. Not bad for a guy from Roanoke, Virginia. I always rented a car so I could drive to the Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Ca.,, Utah, etc. I stayed in hotel/casinos on and off the Strip. My favorite off strip hotel/casino was The Orleans, where I saw The Righteous Brothers (6 times), Ray Charles (twice), Willie Nelson (twice), Glen Campbell, The Smothers Brothers, The Everly Brothers, Dion, Frankie Avalon and Bobby Rydell, Debbie Reynolds (who was once married to a guy from Roanoke), etc., in concert. My last trip to Vegas was in October 2013…saw Leon Russell at The Orleans Showroom and walked The Skywalk at the Grand Canyon. Then I had knee replacement surgery in November 2013…and, in March 2014, I had a serious paralyzing stroke that affected my right side. Now, 8 years later, I am mostly recovered although I do have some problems with mobility. (I now use a cane so walking the Strip would be an issue.) So…THANKS TO YOU I can enjoy and reminisce about my trips to Las Vegas. I must admit I hardly recognize today’s Las Vegas but, from 1996 - 2008, I was all over the city, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, Red Rock Canyon, Bonnie Springs (now demolished), Valley of Fire, Laughlin, Oatman, AZ, etc. THANK YOU, NORMA, FOR YOUR WONDERFUL VIDEOS!
