I visited in August and I had a wonderful vacation. I was in the Hilton just overlooking the falls. I had just a great time.

We’re coming in June. We’re going to drive from Boston. It’s roughly 8 hours. I noticed the parking charges on top of the room rates. I don’t mind paying $15.00 per day for 5 days.

I find Niagara Falls so fascinating!! Not only is it a tourist spot for TWO countries, but there is so much to do there! Like the Cave Of The Winds!! And of course, the super fashionable rain coats 😆

Are you able to do both Canada and America side? I will be in Toronto, want to see the best side and do the maid of the mist + cave of the winds. Which side is the best side for spectacular views?!
@CreativeTravelGuide Жыл бұрын
You can walk across Rainbow Bridge to experience both! Cave of the winds is a must and it’s on the US side but you can get a boat from both sides and the Canadian side has a lot of nightlife options along Clifton Hill

I am a Malaysian passport holder with both a Canadian and American visa. I will be traveling from Canada and I plan to take the boat ride/cruise through the Niagara Falls. My friends will be with me but they only have a Canadian visa. Can they go on the boat ride? Do we need a US visa to get on the boat from the Canadian side. We don't intend to enter the US.
@CreativeTravelGuide2 жыл бұрын
A great question! If you are taking the Hornblower from the Canadian side, you do not need a US passport or visa. You won't be stepping onto US land so it is not needed. Have a great time and make sure to do the Journey Behind the Falls too!

Which is the best Canada side or USA? Thank you
@CreativeTravelGuide Жыл бұрын
Oh tough choice! As people who are about to move to Canada, I’d have to say Canadian side, especially for families. There are lots of things to see and do here include some quirky museums and fun arcades. The USA side is great too though and the national park makes for a calm walk. You can always cross Rainbow Bridge to enjoy the attractions on both sides

If you can only pick 1, the Canadian side. There is far more attractions for both families and adults, but by far the best part is the falls themselves. The view from the Canadian side is fantastic, but sadly, the view from the American side is limited and for the most part, obstructed

Which place is better to stay in canada or buffalo?

More things to see and do on the Canadian side. Like a small Times Square and small Coney Island. The neighborhoods surrounding the falls on both sides don’t appear to be very safe. Reminds me a lot of Atlantic City. Seems that all the proceeds line the politicians pockets and nothing goes to the community (and I’m sure they were promised the exact opposite). I would suggest bringing your own food or keep it simple (hamburgers/hot dogs). All the restaurants and buffets advertise “authentic home cooking”. There is nothing authentic about the food on either side of the border. These are all tourist spots. Wife and I visited “mama mias “ Italian restaurant. We would swear it was Costco’s frozen meatballs and chicken cutlets. Reminded us of Venice. City was amazing. Food was not so great and it doesn’t have to be because they know you’re here today gone tomorrow.

If you mean riding the maid of the mist boat tour, then you don't need a passport or anything for that since the boat lands back on the U.S. side. Same for hornblower on the Canadian side
