When you rent with DVC it doesn’t include the park tickets?

We are trying DVC for the first time in October. After we booked we weren't sure about where to buy tickets. The DVC rental place offered to help, but then we thought maybe we should go through Disney, but then what?! I love your channel especially the trip vlogs. I learn so much!

So exciting!! I always purchase tickets separately through Disney, personally I think it’s easier. The tickets automatically link up with your account, so there are no additional steps ☺️ And aw thank you so much!!

We love doing split stays! Especially with DVC rentals! And no, we have never added on travel insurance ☺️

Hi! Love your videos 🥰 My friends and I would love to stay at the animal kingdom lodge in August (I know very last minute because I just found out about DVC with your video!). I’m curious about one thing, I did the cost calculator and it gave me a price, it says on their website that’s the total cost for my dates but I just want to be sure that’ll be my balance for sure when they book it and they don’t surprise me with a price change 🥺

Sadly you don’t have access to Top of the World lounge even if you are renting points at Bay Lake Tower. Only members with certain restrictions have access 👍🏼

Thank you sooo much for these DVC video’s!!! Just saw your “Beginners Guide” vid as well :-) These were EXTREMELY helpful/informative! I’m from Denmark and now, thanks to you, I’m fully on-top of what to do, when I plan our huge 14-days vacation to DW, in spring of 2024 :-) QUESTION! - MagicBands? :-) I know they’re no longer included in the price of a deluxe resort-stay, when booking directly through Disney (as they were in pre-covid times) Was wondering, though, since you also mention DVC-guest’s don’t have to pay for parking, MAYBE there’s also a chance that resort-stays, booked through DVC, still has them MagicBand’s included??? Thank you so much!! I’m SO glad to hear that!!! And unfortunately, Magic bands are no longer included with any resort stay. You do have the option to purchase them in advance at a discounted rate online prior to your trip! ☺️

One thing people should really know is that when you book a dvc studio or most one bedrooms you get one actual bed. The second bed will be either a sofa sleeper or a Murphy bed. Neither are quite as nice as the actual bed. So maybe two adults who don’t share a bed might want to take that into consideration? Disney is hard on the body. You really wanna get a good night’s rest. My ten year old actually chose a cheaper resort instead of taking the sofa sleeper at AKL.

Correct! Studios have 1 bed in addition to a Murphy bed or sleeper sofa ☺️ These rooms have different layout than normal hotel rooms 👍🏼

I selected the dates resort and room type that I want and it took me right to the payment process I wondered if that guaranteed my slot or if that was just a payment in hopes that they could find someone to rent me DVC for that resort. I love questions! The $140 partial payment acts as your deposit, but if your reservation can’t be secured, you will receive a refund 👍🏼

Because DVC rentals are separate from booking through Disney, you can’t use Disney gift cards.
