For Singapore Airlines (and should be applicable to other airlines as well but need to confirm) the limit is 100Wh which is 20000mah at 5V. So yes, the limit is there. Make sure you check the correct unit while confirming for any other airlines. Unit is mostly in Wh. Use online tool to convert Wh to mAh.
