Things to see and do around Strathpeffer

This is a video of a walk around Strathpeffer in Feb 2023. We visited the Eaglestone and then walked to the old Victorian train station. Unfortunately the Highland Museum of Childhood wasn't open.
We walked a little bit further into the town and then took the walk to the Touchstone Maze. Once we had finished looking around we walked back along the Strathpeffer Circular trail which brought us out at Blackmuir Wood and the wooden carvings.

Ah they are good fun. Might be able to pickup a decent DJI Mini 3 pro second hand now the 4 is out. What I use and is pretty nifty.

Beautiful and helpful video as I’m visiting this area for the first time this coming November. Our holiday cottage is in this exact area too- Drumnadrochit- and not far from Loch Ussie. I always like to research the area I’m visiting for the first time ahead of our trip so I’m not heading in blind. I’m a frequent autumn/winter visitor to Aviemore, Grantown-on-Spey area (twice a year for the past 5 years having fallen in love with the area and the very friendly and welcoming locals) but we’ve decided to try somewhere new this year. We’re extremely excited and can’t wait to discover more of stunning Scotland

@@SimplyCyclingtoursandrides Definitely! Modern DJI drones have inbuilt tracking with obstical avoidance.. could get some great shots of you on your bike! Mini series is also very lightweight.
