Use to go to tomsfield campsite near swanage with my mum and dad many years ago ad great times my mum passed away when she was 41 miss u mum so much she gave me and my brother a wonderful childhood she was wonderful the best thanks for video brought back wonderful memiors x

Hi Alan, I have so many very fond memories of the place... My grandmother and aunty lived in Corfe village... They had the florist shop for many years...My bedroom overlooked the castle... Was the campground near Harmans cross train station?

Oh swanage I’ve been there by the pier eat fish and chips at the fish place in 2015 it was a lovely day we spent there driving from Bournemouth not through the sand banks ferry ⛴

My grandmother had one of those houses.. very oldy English as you can imagine... when I visited my bedroom window had a great view of the Castle. Very special place. ;-)

A lot of these small towns are no longer working ones. A lot of the properties have been bought for second homes by well off people looking for a holiday home to use maybe only four weeks of the year. These small towns only thrive for a few months in summer from tourism and the rest of the year they’re lifeless. Britain once had a thriving fishing industry which kept these small towns busy throughout, but when we joined the EU that industry was decimated. Thanks

I assume you got to visit Corfe Castle, are you not allowed to film the premises? Also, did you park for free by the the curb? Did you traveled in the dead of the winter?
