if you go straight to the last door you can skip the whole part with lawan because the door is a cutscene trigger that forcibly skips the other parts of the sniper chase. tested and worked yesterday

i really hated how uninspired they endet up with Waltz, he was just the bad guy with a lack of convincing motives that was able to overpower everything for seemingly no reason and near every Lawan action scene was either utterly bad or almost broke they devs probably were forced to cut big on both of these things

this is why I hate mainstream gaming: you can only do what the game intended you to do, without taking into account all the curiosity and inventiveness a player could develop, especially in an open word title, like this one. You are transported on a linear path and as soon as you go off the rails for a moment you discover that you didn't have all that freedom and that you still have to "follow the rules" such as forcing NPCs and objects in a pre-established place and time because otherwise the cutscene cannot start correctly. Whatever I've played on console in the last five years I've felt more and more forced to play exclusively the way the devs had planned with no possibility of "breaking" the rules at any point or trying crazy things and approaches that hadn't been expected during development. Thats why Indie Games rules nowadays. People wants a new toy but they also want the freedom to play with it in the way and at the pace they prefer,.
