the fishing rod cast mini game (AKA “MEH”-“PERFECT”) doesn’t increase fishing speed or quality, it only increases the cast distance. For this reason, it’s may be better to stand close to the water, and cast as low down on the bar as you can to fish as fast as possible.

If someone struggle about losing fast oxygen when swimming then there is a glitch help you regen full all of it even tho you still in water. very few people know this, but you can get fishes from the roslit volcano and complete roslit bestiary without magma rod or any specific rod, all you need is enough max KG and the Wormhole enchant.

I found this out recently that you can get a fungal rod in mushgrove swamp. You talk to a guy that look like a mushroom he will give you a quest to get an alligator after you got an alligator you talk to him holding the alligator he will give you the fungal rod and a title i remember you still keep the alligator tho. He is located backresting on a giant mushroom near the alligator abundence. Sorry if my comment is too long and sorry if you already knew this

As a beginner player who just started 2 days ago and now has progressed quite a bit (in my opinion), I found out abt half of these info just from exploring, and the rest of the info from the vid were really useful too! I just wished the game would've introduce the game mechanics a little bit better, cuz I was fr struggling on understanding how fishing works from a npc's dialogue alone, or how it took me a long time to even noticed the backpack every player has (with just a "(`) backpack" right above our items), or how I didn't know you could right click (on PC) to favourite your catches so that it doesn't despawn in your inventory, and a lot more like the lantern shown in the vid for example too, just basically, the basics :/

What most suprised me is that the new update you dont need to farm anymore depth’s keys which really is helpful for either new players or old players cus of they disconnect they might get another depth key or waste another one but now since the new update you only need 1 key and you unlock the depths (idk if its right but it was very known that when your joining different servers)
