Difficult to understand Mr. Kulkarni's position on Jinnah. Going through annals of Indian freedom struggles it is clear that Jinnah didn't have any role in his second phase of Politics. On the contrary he colluded with the Britishers for perpetuating their rule. Especially, during second World war most Indian freedom fighters were kept under arrest while he was offered an open field for espousing his views in front of his target audience. If he wanted to create a secular country, what stopped him from joining his fellow countrymen in establishing the largest country in the world as a secular country. On the contrary what he created was a theocratic state. To her credit, the then Indian leaders not only established the largest Democracy in the world but also created a wonderful liberal Constitution which till date stands as a reference for many societies. If his vision was communicated successfully amongst people of his new country then why did they attack India four times. India knows who all shook hands with the colonisers. Hence there is an attempt in some quarters to re-establish history to suit their present day needs. Ironical, that a British media is quizzing member of a right wing Indian political party for supporting Jinnah. Why don't they go back to the British Government and ask them to de-classify documents of Indian freedom struggles and correspondences from their archives for further research. That would remove a lot of cobweb. As for Kohinoor, we will mutually fix it with Pakistan.

Brother don't you think that you are comparing apples with oranges. We have problem with what Israel has been doing with Palestinian. They came from Europe and started killing locals. On the other hand we the habitants of the north-west subcontinent, have been living here since ever. And we separated under the dynamic leadership of our beloved Quaid, from India after Congress cold response to our demands and our concerns became evident during the Congress rule 1937-1939. We know India is now much ahead of us in every sphere of life, but even then I would say our decision was right because we Pakistanis are much ahead of the average Indian Muslim in terms of living standards. Brother your ex-minister Jaswant Singh has written a book on Jinnah. You know once Jinnah was called as the ambassador of Hindu-Muslims unity. So the question, which is also raised by Mr. Jaswant, is what made an Indian leader into a Muslim leader. Brother, Jinnah did not create a divide between the Hindus and the Muslims. We were divided, we were fighting with each other for decades. 1920s were full of Muslim-Hindu riots and at that time there was no idea of Pakistan. And also not Jinnah but Gandhi was responsible for those riots because he withdrew non-coperation movement after chura churi incident, which destroyed Muslim led Khilafat movement. Even before the birth of Jinnah, both communities were fighting with each other, for example, Urdu Hindi controversy happened in 1864. As you are denying the friction between the Hindu-Muslim relations, congress had also denied and always gave cold response to such grievances of the Muslims and that led to further parting ways. You tell me brother, if partition had not happened, would it be possible for me or any Muslim to survive after being blamed for slaughtering cow. With great respect for your leader but it was ghandi and nehru who are resposible for division. They never listened to the demands of Muslims. I can give you Multiple examples when the Muslims demands received cold response and that behavior led to the creation of Pakistan. In the end, Ghandi offered PM when he saw now he cannot undo the partition. If he had accepted demands before partition would have never happened.
