@Gacha Galáctico this is hard to explain but a lamp has the light source inside so there's a force shield ( which is the thingy on the outside of the lamp) so the light doesn't just blow everywhere. The light isn't that powerful on the thingy of the outside of the lamp because it bounces around in there then come out from the bottom and top and does a shadow because the light isn't that powerful on thing of the outside ( sorry for my grammar it's kinda bad)
