So beautiful in the county park. When we were there intrepid youngsters were jumping off the cliff into the lake. I talked to you both outside Al Johnson’s restaurant and butik in Sister Bay. We just got back from a 6 day vacation there. We came from 4 states away on a whim from learning about it in an article and watching videos like these. We got mixed reactions when people heard where we were from so we didn't go out of our way to tell people! Luckily I was born and raised in the midwest so I cranked up my accent a bit lol. Anyway, we fell in love with the place. There were times my wife and I looked at each other and literally said "how is this a real place??" It was worth the pilgrimage for us (2 flights and 3 hour drive from MKE). We definitely want to go back. My favorite thing may have been the trip out to Pottowatomie lighthouse. The ferries, the hike, the ladies in the tower. Just a magical day.

Excited to see what you have in store for all of us in Wisconsin. Loved this first video. My top 5: 1. Cave Point- so beautiful. The access points to the shoreline and just listening to the water. 2. Whitefish Dunes- water, waves and walking along the beach area. 3. Eagle Tower views and Paula’s chili. Sounds like a perfect ending to a perfect day. 4. Hot Chocolate and all that homemade whip cream at Al’s ❤. Not sure about Swedish meatballs for breakfast. 🤔 5. Goats on the roof! So cool. I would love to see that.

Great video! MY husband and I have been married 38 years and we've been to Door County 3 times and will be going again next week with our kids and grandkids! If you've never been to Washington Island on one of your trips you need to make that a stop next time! I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your vlogs in the future. :)

This area looks amazing! I am Canadian and I adore all of Northern Michigan and the UP. I Have also done the Lake Superior Circle Tour. But I am super interested in Door County as it showcases the Niagara Escarpment. We have 900 km of the escarpment through Ontario and I have hiked its entirety (Bruce Trail). Great video. We are headed back here the first part of September. We went 2 years ago and head a wonderful time (the first part of October) and this time going with our friends who just retired and wanted to see what all the excitement was about. The trip will start in Maine with stops in coxsackie, ny, bushkill falls, pa., Dubois, pa. Shipswanna, in., mars cheese castle, sturgeon bay, mackinaw, mi., frankenmuth, onto Watkins glen, Saratoga ny Bennington vt then home

The state parks that we visited were Whitefish Dunes State Park near Sturgeon Bay (this surrounds Cave Point County Park) and Peninsula State Park near Fish Creek. We really enjoyed both of these parks. Hope you get to go there and enjoy them for yourself.
