I'm heading to Addo in a few weeks and this was really helpful... looking forward to picking up a guide for our tour, hadn't known it was an option before your video so thank you.

Great video. Could you please link the information for the hop on guide 🙏

Hello Thembi Great video! We're planning a visit soon and I just wanted to double check some prices. The national park advised that for a self drive, its just the conservation fee per person, but you mentioned a fee for the car too? Please can you confirm.

Thank you for the information! Did not know a hop on guide was an option so helpful! Can the hop on guide be booked before or only ask when you arrive? Can you buy your entry ticket for Addo elephant park before going? I have tried emailing and looking online and I did not see these options.

Great JOB!!! I know you did this video 3 years ago but, we will be in Port Elizabeth on the 28th any recommendations?

We went in March 2023. Definitely do Addo, we went in at the Addo gate and out at Colchester. You don't need a 4x4, any hire car will do 🙂. Kragga Kamma is also worth going to if you have time. For anyone driving along the Garden Route, stop at Knysna for the wolf sanctuary and Elephant Rescue.

Also you were talking about private game reserves. Are there any in Kruger area where you could go just for day visit

How to book a guide to hop in our car. Can you provide where to book them and whether we can use our rented car for the safari

Hi tembi! thanks for you information, can you tell me if it's necessary to have a 4x4 car to visit Addo or if it's also fine with a smaller car? Thanks a lot!
@thembiveto2516 Жыл бұрын
Hi Claudia, you def dont need a 4x4. I went with a small car and it was totally okay - they have actually cement roads most of the time so its okay. Enjoy!!

When the big elephant flapped its ears I had such a fright! Anele seems so kind, are you allowed to tip the guides personally or is there a collection bank at reception?
@thembiveto25164 жыл бұрын
It seems easy to get up close but its actually a bit scary! Yeah you pay and tip the guides yourself, that way you can be sure they get what they deserve🙌
