This was a great video. I’m a much older fan. I’m 43 and just got into KPOP around August. I researched and listened to a lot of groups but BTS was the one that really stood out to me. They made me feel young and alive. Being from America and a new fan I didn’t realize that idols did so many broadcasts and TV shows. I watched every show I could find that BTS was involved in and they just made me that much more of a fan. During these times I had no idea about BTS ships or shipping idols in general but I do remember watching JK and V and thinking to myself ‘man, they seem really into each other, the way they look at each other is so intense’. When I discovered the analysis videos they just made so much sense. I am definitely a BTS fan and want nothing but the best for all members. They are all talented and work so hard but I do ship Taekook. I don’t even necessarily think either of them is gay (not that it would matter to me) I truly think their souls belong together. I wish they lived in a society where they could live the way they wanted and I wish fans could understand that they are people not robots. They have feelings, they love, they sacrifice, they feel pain. My wish is for one day to live in a world where people can love who they want out in the open regardless of culture, jobs, gender, or status. Sorry my comment is so long. Christine absolutely!! My dad raised me to appreciate and respect all genres of music. I’ve always enjoyed hip hop the most but when I heard BTS it almost seemed like memories I was enjoying instead of new songs. I really hope they stay humble and continue on as a group. I will support all their solo endeavors but as a group they get me so hype. I wish I could get my friends to jump on the bandwagon. They think I’m crazy because they are so young and their sound is youthful. I just tell them music has no age. I feel it so I listen to it.

JK once said in a very informal conversation with a TV show host that he feels like he's wearing a mask, like he's not being himself. I'll never forget that. I understand how homophobic Korea is but since BTS is an international group now, I hope someday they will come out of the closet and show the world how much they love each other. I wanna cry. I just want to cry because this is too much. I know South Korea has been progressively accepting of LGBTQ+ however, the stigma about the taboo topic is still existent and homophobia is inevitable. I hate that members of the LGBTQ+, especially idols, are going through such a rough patch just for being themselves, in pursuit of happiness. As an ARMY its our mission to provide them the love and care they need. That whatever may happen, we will be here for them, through thick and thin. And if they just cant take it anymore and Bighit decides to terminate their contract, then f*** it, we'll all still be beside BTS. And I know for sure no member would abandon another for a career, RM would lead and take care of them all.

I think Big Hit are supportive of Taekook, but the separation and such was their way of protecting the boys from receiving negativity for being too obvious in their interactions? I don't think Big Hit was doing it to hurt the boys, but to protect the group as a whole from any negative reactions to obvious 'gay' moments? That's just my thoughts... I had no idea about the Dispatch thing so looked into it to find out a little bit more. Can you actually believe that there are some people who *hope* that the couple Dispatch will expose is their OTP? It just goes to show that they don't really care about the actual people involved and only care about the ship. They don't care that these idols live in a homophobic country and will be ostracized and possibly disowned by their families as long as their ship sails. It's really sad. And the saddest thing is that even if they are a legit couple, they'll still be pressured into marrying women and putting up a facade. I just want Taekook to be happy, I want all of the members to be happy. That's the most important thing. And I wish the world would be more accepting of people who are different from them.

Thank you so much for telling us about the Dispatch announcements about the outing. Am I the only one worried about the "negotiations" between the idol's management company and Dispatch? If the couple that Dispatch is threatening to out is indeed Taekook, I'm pretty sure that _negotiation_ in this context is a euphemism for *blackmail*. The timing makes sense: 2017 is BTS's biggest year yet, and an outing will be devastating to the group (in Korea only, because I have a feeling a Taekook outing will be welcome news in other parts of the world). Dispatch's silence despite the threats meant that the extortion victims paid the blackmail price. If the victims are BTS and BigHit, that explains Jungkook's sadness; we know how much he shoulders his hyung's pain, and knowing how BTS members are all-for-one type of guys, I'm sure they contributed equally to the silence payment (like when they did with the initial UNICEF #loveyourself campaign). This must weigh heavily on him, and might explain his sadness. I remember watching a video when Taehyung said something about coming out at the 4th Muster, but I can't find that video anymore. Maybe it's their way of freeing themselves from this blackmail episode. BTS has always been pioneers and now is the perfect time to blaze that LGBT trail. I hope they know they have the support of enlightened ARMYs worldwide.

this brings us to the fact that it's 2018, and yet we only know ONE admittedly homosexual artist in south korea (hong seokcheon), and even then it disgusts the amount of stereotypical comments i've seen made about him in several tv shows even to this day. not only that, but as far as i know, there has been only THREE idols who have openly spoken about the lgbt+ in a positive manner (kim heechul and the late, beloved kim jonghyun, who received a lot of criticism from korean netizens when he did so; and RM, //kind of//). so it's kinda easy to figure out how 'taboo-ish' the subject is in south korea in general, which is extremely sad and revolting. i do believe in my heart that taekook is real (my gaydar never misses!), and i wish they could be open with their love for each other, but as long as they are happy and most important, SAFE, i will be satisfied.

Nice video. I agree with everything you said. Being a Jungkook stan, i noticed immediately that Jungkook was not acting like his usual self. I’m a little worried about the both of them but i know they are strong and would get through this together like they always did. I’m glad dispatch didn’t do anything that would harm their image. Although i love the BTS right now just fine , i would rather they be happy doing what they want than act in front of us fans and be unhappy conforming to society’s “rules”. I truly believe that BTS’ brotherhood is strong and love their fans a lot but i get the vibe that sometimes they don’t wish that they were this famous. Rania Alione With the 4th muster and everything i dont think they’ll have much time to rest (idk why i sound so unemotional online). Jungkook is strong and doesn’t get sick often so it makes sense that he gets a cold during winter. And when strong people get sick, the colds are usually prolonged as their body is not used to getting a cold unlike people who fall sick easily. I’m sure Jungkook would get better after summer starts though. After 4th muster they would probably be able to get the rest they need unless the theory about the new album is true. Sometimes i wish BTS was not that famous. :(

I am so sick, laying in bed. Then I saw that you uploaded and it made my day which was crappy so far. Things here in Greece aren’t better than Korea. Greece’s population is 98% orthodox Christians (I am in the 2%) and we still learn at school that LGBTQ+ isn’t normal, and many (not all) teachers make fun of its members. Well it was a lot that you've explained.. I haven't seen such detailed analysis, really I haven't. You've put light on such things that everyone should concern about. Idols are also human and they may have feelings towards another, either same or different gender. The only thing matter is that love is a very pure thing. And it should not be bound within gender. I said it before and I'll say it again, we have to send them our love and support and let them know regardless of their sexual orientation, as you say in the beginning of your video, they are beautiful, valid and important. South Korea is progressing but they aren't there yet and we want our favorite idols, hell, we want ALL idols to be safe. I like your way of analysis that maybe the rumors about the same sex relationship within the group is a big factor why taekook needs to separated in the eyes of others or maybe it's because both jungkook ang taehyung becomes matured to goof around like when they're still young. honestly speaking, and I'm not only pertaining to only Taehyung and Jungkook, the possibility of one of them falling in love with another member is a bit high because they've been through together through thick and thin. They've been with one another for like years and their bonds are really strong; they know one another really well and having that kind of relationship may end up either platonically or romantically. Thank you so much for this. I have made some of the same comments on other videos. I am a Taekook shipper, but I have also researched the LGBTQ situation in SKorea. I am a passionate supporter of BTS because of their stance towards the LGBTQ community, among other reasons. What you talked about in your video really needed to be said. Dear Teakook-lives- I am glad to see your video on this topic. You have taken a lot of patience and guts to make a video and address issues/concerns head-on. If they are together, then it is heartbreaking to see V and JK go through this. I too come from a country which still finds it difficult to accept different orientations between couples, so I can imagine how people would react in South Korea. But I feel everyone should be able to live their life as their own. As long as there is no harm to anyone, why don't we follow Buddha's teachings of "Live and let live"? (Just to quote a famous relevant saying). As an ARMY, BTS should be shipped, no matter their sexual orientation, religion or colour. These things don't matter. If they are kind, loyal, good artists and conscientious, why do orientation, religion or colour matter? Personally, of Teakook is real, then they should flourish and grow together. That's my support to them. And to BTS, for spreading the message to "Love Myself", no matter what. Thank you.

I cried so much watching your video. You have a beautiful soul thank you.. I am an ARMY first then a Taekook shipper. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to any of the boys I love them so much. But I feel so sad and broken when I think about how hurt tae and kookie must be feeling. I am so afraid that they won't be able to take it anymore because this kind of pain is not easy to endure. Well I am an army. I first discovered them as a group not as one member. But I'm definitely a Taekook shipper. V is my bias. I just feel they're still being punished for their stunt last month. Where they both had hickeys on their necks. We all know what they did. Tae and his selfie made that obviously clear. But honestly the world will see the together publicly because it's only a matter of time before the cats out of the bag. Whether they're being exposed by the media or they make the announcement themselves. However if they did break up then I'd fully support their decision.

My heart was not ready for this... I agree so much with all you said and it made me sad, like every time I think of them not being aloud to show their love... Being part of the LGBTQ community myself, it touches me so much. I wish I could be there for them IRL... to tell them it's okay and to support them. It is so sad that South Korea, in general, has a very narrow-minded view of LGBT community. I know that BTS is trying their very best to break that stigma by releasing songs like DNA and their latest mini album Love Yourself speaks for itself. Unfortunately, it's going to take more than BTS's effort to evolve the mind of Koreans when it comes to LGBT community. Ideally, I want Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook to move somewhere where they can be themselves and love and most importantly be HAPPY and not deal with the meaningless pressure from this whole mess. This reminds me of the scene from Bon voyage 2 where Jungkook said that he wanted to live in Hawaii and Taehyung asked him if he wants to live with him together which Jungkook answered yes.

Love the fact that you care and I have been worried for them too. Just keep supporting them and I will do the same, so hopefully they can get through what ever is making them tired, sad, and off the norm safely. Then hopefully we can see the happiness return to their eyes. I agree that them as people is more important than what may or may not be true as a ship.
