Looking at the food makes me hungry for some lupulu. I have some frozen. My Tongan friend made some, so good. Taro leaves, coconut milk and corned beef. That's the winner! Oh, and you have to add onions too.

The best!! Thank you for this vlog.. it’s true about being topless in public lol my cousin has to walk me everywhere like a guard and one night I wanted to walk to the Chinese shops..he brought a bedsheet and covered himself as we walked I said bro leave the sheet you have a wife beater tank on and he explained he has to cover himself because if anyone’s caught wearing a wife beater in public they could get jumped. I thought he was exaggerating but when we got there a guy walked over from the crew hanging out across the street and I realized he was trying to distract me w high praises while another guy (leader also my cousin distant related that my older sister beat up his lil brother when we were kids for bullying our younger cousins) walks over to my cousin and I walked away from the complimenting guy to my cousin and I told the dude Aye relax what you telling my bro? And immediately he was like oh wait hey I know you were family and I said uh huh this is my bro so back up.. they did but I think because when we were kids our uncle walked us to their house to tell their dad were family and to excuse my sister for whooping his son. Still..I couldn’t believe they were gonna jump my bro cuz he was wearing a tank top wife beater even covered w a sheet.. respect includes covering yourself up because everyone has sisters and you’re forcing them to break the respect so they get rights to beat you up 😅 it’s why our Tongan men swim with t shirts even no guy swims without a shirt in Tonga unless they’re foreigners 😊

It’s illegal in Tonga’s law for male to walk anywhere without shirt. It’s ok at your home. Why? It’s disrespect.
@Took_bo0x8084 ай бұрын
That’s pretty stupid couple reasons why Samoa is better
@seansmith94352 ай бұрын
@@Took_bo0x808 that’s Samoa 🇼🇸 not Tonga every culture is different for their own reason..so respect other culture it’s not just Samoan is better etc..know your lane mate.!!
Being shirtless in general for a guy is considered rude regardless of what's happening.

No running on a South Pacific island with no shirt? Brah…when I’m in Hawaii or Samoa I spend 80% of my time with no shirt…never felt weird about it…but Tongans are beautiful people and will always respect their culture and norms…looking forward to visiting their island one day 🤙🏽
