We've all been there. The ref makes a bad call, and our mind goes to this dark place and simulates all the terrible things that you would love to do to the ref to express your disdain and utter contempt for him.
In this video - we look at all the things we want to do to a referee, but we don't because we hate getting suspended.

I'm a goaltender and a person on the other team was screening me so I have him a few shoves. I killed the play and after that the kid punched me in the face and he got a misconduct for it. As he starts skating towards the box he comes over to me and tries to punch me again but misses and falls. I then said "why the hell should I be afraid of you, you can't even stand on two feet?!" He then proceeds to flip me off and gets ejected.

my team made a ref cry once, he was calling all the penalties one sided and we started yelling, he didn't know how to handle it so he kept calling the penalties one sided. our team eventually had too many injuries to play so we had to forfeit. we stormed off the ice and he went and cried. the worst part is our coach served a 30 day suspension for protecting his players.

i hate bad refs at my hockey game last night the referee called an offside WHEN MY PLAYER WAS THE ONLY PLAYER IN THE OTHER TEAMS END! the puck went in before she did so it wasn't off side. And last year a referee tried to give a player a penalty for an offside!

See, the refs at the rink I play at suck (at least the 2 refs my team always seem to get stuck with). I hit the puck (Which was in the air) with my hand down to my stick (like the NHL players) and got a whistle because I was "hitting it to another player". Nobody on my team was even around me to hit it to anyways. Then, to top it off, I checked somebody and got a penalty. It was a clean check. She had the puck, I checked her and she was also in my defensive zone. However, the second I got on the ice after the penalty was over, I didn't even have the puck when somebody checked me, but they didn't get a penalty. Not all refs are bad, some are actually fair to both teams, but some are simply terrible.

BikingBrosYT Mini biking/Riding/GoPro vids Just today we had a game in which the ref called no penalties on the other team, but called every penalty on us. There was an actual fist fight between us and them, and they kept slashing us and hitting our goalie (which is one of the reasons why there was a fight). The other team was unsportsmanlike, but the refs were worse for calling nothing. I played with the Bantams for a spring league and there the teams were fair and didn't play dirty. The team I played today had 0 class (and we played at their rink which was part of the problem...)

This one ref didnt know that if you dump it past the red line its not an icing. So I did that twice and he called it icing. Then he said "Next icing is a delay of game bud." So next shift I "Dump and changed" the puck right into his hip.

I know this video is quite old, but I'll still comment this to the few that are watching this in 2017. I play Bantam A hockey in a Quebec league. My friends brother was playing after I did, so my dad and I stuck around to watch hig Midget B game. Let me tell you, I've never seen so many penalties in one game. For the whole game the scoreboard showed penalty minutes from at some points 4 players. There was a moment in the game where two guys said a couple of things and a fight almost broke out. As the linesmen went in to break it up, the kid on my friend's brother's team completely shoved the referee out of his path, knocking the referee of his feet. I had never seen anything close to this in my life.
