I am a Data Engineer with 4 yoe and overall 6 yoe in software. I have done some initial research. I am targeting to get a job around September, but only targeting top7-8 companies that can pay 6 figures in Amsterdam. Otherwise, it does not offer any significant advantage over top-paying companies in India. In fact, it would be worse, given what I have heard about the Dutch weather that goes on weeks without Sun. Of course, it is super ambitious, the 6 figure job needs very focused hard work. And lots and lots of practice. So hoping there are more job requirements for DE-II (Associate) level around June-August. If not, the prep will help to land a better job when I move back to India. Reality is single salary is not enough to survive in Netherland,if both hus and wife working means at least they can save something and live better life. If only one person got opportunity here and plan to come with family means pls don’t come.
