@xxxwickedluverxxx actually the lyrics form the film are the lyrics from the ORIGINAL broadway show. THey changed the lyrics about 4 years after it was firts on broadway

This is beause this is the film version. The other lyrics are from the broadway/stage version. It was changed for the film, no idea why though! Hope this clears everything up ;)

Thank you for commenting :), Sorry about it being too fast. I have uploaded a slower version which is posted as a video response to this video, or you can click on it as you watch this video. I got lots of people saying it was too fast, so I decided to make a slower one.

the only thing i would fault it with is there isnt enough time at the end with the 'ah-ah-ah's, i cant seem to fit them in :) but yeah, in every other aspect, its great!! :) thank you x

It's not that bad a tempo. My girlfriend was able to keep up with it and still have it sound half decent..... (She doesn't really like the high note at the end either.......) so over all it's good. Thank you

No, but what i'm trying to get at, is that these lyrics are from the 2004 FILM. These are the correct lyrics, but they are from the film. I don't see why it is such a problem, the karaoke is here and you can use it, but not with my lyrics if you chose to.

This is from the movie version, you probably have the music sheet from the stage version. The lyrics are similar, but not the same.

Well... Phantom of the Opera is not Opera but a Operatic Musical... but either way, yes the original IS this fast. Which really only makes Sarah Brightman and all those other Christine that came after her all the more admirable for their talent. And when Sarah Sang it, she made it look so effortless. Only thing I can fault is the text is actually a tad faster than the music actually... and the ending lyrics was messed up. Musical OST repeats "Never said Love was evergreen" part.

put your own style to it at the end if you arent a high pitched singer hold the off till the music starts for the finish then rise it slightly and then finish with the big me and hold till the end

... Not starting an argument here, but just because the word Opera is in the title, Andrew Lloyde Webber's POTO does mean it is an Opera. It is a musical. Andrew Lloyde Webber writes musicals. Granted it takes place in Opera House, but it is NOT an Opera.
