Watching this video brought on the tears. My sons were born in 1974 & ‘78. Halloween has always been a fun holiday for me, I just love seeing the “littles” dress up. Unfortunately back then, I didn’t take a lot of photos…thus the tears. I lost my oldest son this year due to cancer so…every picture I do have is even more precious to me. Maybe I’ll get together all of the photos that I do have & creat a Halloween book. As the kids got older & were allowed to go Trick or Treating in their own in our neighborhood, I would dress up & sit on my porch & pass out candy (no pics of this either). Wish me luck.

Oh Debbie, I’m so sorry to hear about your son. I am sure creating a book like this would be very therapeutic for you, for many reasons. You don’t have to have a photo of every memory to tell the story - be sure to journal about how you’d dress up and pass out candy when they were old enough to go out on their own. Your layouts are wonderful. We do not really celebrate Halloween for our personal belief and yet I understand with children seeing everyone else dressed up and having “fun” can be conflicting for young ones.

Loved your layouts. But honestly I appreciate the fact that you showed your messup/fix i think some times we forget that the creators make mistakes too because their layouts always look so amazing and perfect. Its nice to see this side and know that we arent the only ones. Thanks for sharing that honest moment. It really does happen to us all.

Great layout! I love the little ghosties too! Just a suggestion for your flip flap flop, I've done the same thing before and you can use a product called "undo" to remove the flip flap and re-adhere it elsewhere. I couldn't figure out how to attach a picture to this comment to show you but you can get it on amazon and other major craft retailers. I use it all the time. It works on tape adhesives although it does not work well on glue. It will not damage your paper, stickers or photos at all. When you first use it, the paper, photo, stickers, etc. are wet but let it dry and whatever you took apart will look just as it did before you used it! Thanks for sharing your layout!

I love your pages and I think I need to do a Halloween through the years book! Isabella loves looking through my albums and I think she’d love this one too. What a neat idea for your family to look at through the years! So there’s a product called Un-Du that is used to remove sticky things off pages or flips flaps. It will not harm your photos ( trust me, I know lol). You can get it at local scrapbook stores or big box stores and sometimes Wal-Mart. You might be able to order it on Amazon. I always have a bottle near buy cuz I make mistakes like this too😂. Love yur album. TFS

Amazing and fun. Bought the sketch book. Could you all make a 12x12 sketch book with 20 double layouts for a wedding album. Keeping it simple but elegant? Including a supply list and cutting paper guide please. Many scrapbookers have asked and look for something like this in our huge crops. Hugs

Thank you so much for the suggestion. That's a great idea and we’ll take it into consideration. After releasing this sketchbook we see there's definitely a need for them so we've got our wheels turning :) It's definitely not a small undertaking so it'll take some to see what makes sense.

So this size protectors load from the side? What keeps them from falling out?

Yes they load from the side. They do sometimes slide a little but the rings in the middle keep them from sliding out.
