I know! 😂 I watched the unboxing part of the video while editing it and I thought the same thing. Gosh, the temptation to just make a dress just because everyone else seems to love making and wearing dresses is real!! 💞

I will be honest and say initially I didn't like the fabric when I saw some unboxing and was almost glad I wasn't sent it BUT oh my word! Your Rhapsody top is the absolute best version I have seen made up. It is perfect on you, those colours and the quilting shapes, just stunning. Fabulous job AS EVER Izzy. 👏🏼😘🩷

Oh my goodness Deb - I almost did baste it and turn it into a quilt. I might actually do that with some of my scraps. I think it would make a super cute small wall hanging with embroidery maybe! Feeling inspired now!! 💞

Fabulous blouse. I got the green fabric but envy you the pink. It pops and suits you so well. Not made mine up yet. Still cannot make up my mind…..BUT ordered a quarter inch quilting foot ready for my mug rug (gulp).

Yay!! One step closer to making one. I’m super excited!! I thought the green colourway was lovely, but I seriously got so excited when I saw the pink in my box. 😂 I think the fabric would look beautiful in just about any garment but a nice simple top without too many seams would really allow the fun “patchwork” design to shine. 💞

I love your Rhapsody blouse. It sounds like you’re addicted to making them, exactly like me. I’ve just made the bishop sleeve so far but made about 4 so far. The perfect pattern. What size bias do you do? It looks thinner than mine. 😊 x

Thank you so much Tina! My bias tape was narrower on this version because I messed up and cut it to 1” instead of my usual 1 1/4”. I didn’t want to waste a single inch of that beautiful fabric so I made it work, but it was very fiddly! I totally am addicted to the Rhapsody and I’m thinking I need a couple more with the bishop sleeves for the Fall. 💞

Your blouse looks lovely. My daughter has similar measurements to you, so can you tell me how tall you are as I make long distance clothes as she lives in the north of England and I live in the south so it's mostly size guess work. Thanks

Hey Izzy, when you said you had left over fabric i was telepathically telling you' make a camisole for Marianne ' and then poof you mentioned it. Haha. Your top looks amazing on you would it go good with your pink pants ??? But definitely with white pants also. Wear it in good health .

LOL I think that cami pattern is going to be what I make with remnants now. She's going to end up with a hundred camis! Not sure I would have the guts to wear this blouse with my pink pants... that's a lot of pink! But it will look amazing with white jeans or with black linen pants. 💞
