This bag is literally my favorite I own the PM nomatic bag and sold this one. In terms of ergonomics I love this bag. Comfort the PM bag takes the crown easily

hi! I still have it and to be honest I haven't used it much lately. From this bag, I transitioned to the Tenba Axis V2 24L. And then from that I am now using the Nanuk NPVD 30L as my primary work bag! Nothing wrong with the think tank, but just wanted a change!

@@DesmondCheng don't blame ya there! i can be such a bag diva lol, par for the course. That Tenba looks like a nice way to bring good amount of kit with you. quick question on the UA15, do you think the laptop pouch will accommodate the newer 16" macbook pros? I see it's rated for 15" but looks like awfully tight margins on it. if you know off the top of your head, appreciate it. if not no biggie, thanks!

@@kernzilla I think it should be fine for the 16". I haven't tested it, but for my older 15" it fits fine, its not too tight

@@DesmondCheng again, this is great info 👍 16" is like .3 inch wider than 15", this pretty much confirms it for me. thanks m8! goal here: need intermediary backpack for when I don't need to bring my usual full/pro kit. Been shooting a lot of arena concerts & large festivals lately, and full 35/40L bag is a chore in these crowds! not quite willing to spend $300+ for something i don't really need, but this UA15 in the $80 range seems like a good value for portability yet still carry the 300 with me. just subbed, cool channel here Desmond. in a world of 'niche down' i've been enjoying more of my fav channels that diversify their content, nice work here 👍

I've been looking for camera bags and I'm torn between this one and the Peak Design bag. What a timely review, thank you! One question for you: this bag, without anything in it, is supposedly 4 lbs. when the bag is full (including a 15 in MacBook Pro), is it unbearably heavy? Thanks again for the great review!

Thanks! When it is full, yes it is heavy... but so is any bag when you load it up!

Perhaps you purchased a bag already, but I was looking around as well and ended up grabbing the PD 20L v1. I'm returning it because it doesn't lay flat, is unfortunately quite uncomfortable, and I'd prefer having a segregated top compartment . I walked around with it full for maybe only 15 minutes in the house and the next day my shoulders were sore. I'm considering this bag or the PGYTECH OneMo (which visibly seems kind of big for my small stature), and lastly the Lowepro Freeline 350 which warrants a couple easy modifications.

Liquidus thank you so much for your reply! Is haven’t bought a bag yet, but I tried on the PD and found it to be uncomfortable as well, and I didn’t like the material. I’m considering this bag and the Wandrd Prvk , which I’ve tried on in person and found to be comfortable. Please keep me updated with what you find!

@@arianatolbert3421 Absolutely! Interesting to hear you had a similar experience with the Everyday BP. I really like PD's 30L sling, but they can't hit the mark 100% of the time, who can? The Brevite Scout ii may be of interest to you, it's stylish and similar to the Prvk - but I don't think it'll carry as much as I'd like, which makes the ThinkTank a great contender. I just want to fit my telephoto, some primes, and have ample extra pockets with a spot to put a small reflector.. Why does the search for products always have to end up so time consuming and exhaustive haha!

Does anyone know if a Razor Blade 15 laptop would fit in this backpack? I've been rocking the peak design bag for years but it doesn't fit my blade 😭. Thanks!

Hmmm unfortunately I don't know... but FYI the 15" MBP is a snug fit so if the razor blade is much thicker or bigger than that, then it might not!
