Brother, thanks for putting up this video and firstly I fully respect your opinion regarding life of an immigrant in UK. And on many aspects I completely agree with you. However there are few things where I would differ with all due respect. Firstly you rightly stated one need to make up their mind and prepare for hard work before coming here. Which is absolutely correct. But isn’t that the case everywhere in the world anyways. Nowadays you can not survive without hard work, no matter where you chose to live. If you want to maintain a good lifestyle you have to go through your struggles. But that builds your character and make you a better person. In fact in my opinion living in India given the current economic crisis and unemployment rate is more harder. To get a job which can provide you a good lifestyle in India isn't that easy anyways. Most of multinational companies their have US or UK based clients so most of the staff ends up doing graveyard shifts. You rightly spotted if someone has a decent set up in India already i.e business or government job and earning around Rs 1 lakh per month should not come to UK ( though many will still argue because it depends which city of India you live in to see if Rs 1 lakh is enough to maintain a good lifestyle when you have kids or family to feed. But yeah if someone feels they have a decent set up and don’t feel the need to migrate it’s common sense why would they? I came to UK around 17-18 years ago as a student. I did my undergrad and Masters in UK, now working for Armed Forces. Yes back home my father had a good government job and coming to UK was my decision and yes I did struggle in my initial years but now when I look back every sec seems worth it. Please Don’t get me wrong I do wish If I had this lifestyle back home I wouldn’t have come here, but I wouldn’t discourage anyone by pointing out just the struggle or bad weather. Yes cost of living is expensive here, but £600 to £700 for a studio flat..? It depends which part of UK you decide to settle. Living in London is like living in Mumbai or Delhi so cost of living will be high. If you want to study in good collages or Universities in India nowadays isn’t cheap either. And the culture of donations and paid seats is a well known issue. Yes most of couples here work here, but I don’t see anything wrong in it and it’s same in India too in many big cities. There are many good things too which you will get if you do the hard work here. Value of life, no corruption at lower levels at least ,better work culture, great importance to mental health, supportive HR, more job opportunities, financial freedom which enables you to help your loved ones back home are some examples. Regarding bringing parents yes it’s not that easy to get PR for them if you have siblings in India but you can get a 10 year multi entry visa for them and get it renewed after 10 years. Many of my friends in India tells their side of the story and the exploitation and stress they have to face even after putting all the hard work, One thing I can vouch for after living here for that long that if you put the effort in you do get the rewards accordingly. I agree every place has its pros and cons regardless you chose to come to UK or stay in India. In the end it all comes to your personal ambition. Rest about hard work or struggle that exist both sides. Thanks 🙏🏻

Yea bro, 10 year multi-entry visa is there, but there seems an unwritten caveat with it. My colleague's mother (with multi-entry visa) used to visit 2-3 times a year, and never stayed for over a month. Still, once immigration officials (at Heathrow) warned her saying 'you are visiting UK too often, we might blacklist you'.

@@rajbirsingh2020 Don't destroy your life and regret your whole life after moving abroad. If you are making 55k Rs. monthly, that is a good a salary, and you can enjoy life without any pressure. In UK, even if you make 2 lakh Rs. a month, you will regret to live there. All salary goes to paying bills, rent etc. Moreover, houses in UK are too small as compared to India. I lived in sweden for 4 years. I left my job in India and wanted to do higher studies and after spending quite some time in europe I finally came back to India. I think people weigh too much on making money and forget a lot of things that become more important once you cross your 30's. Family, friends, food, cultural vibes- home is home. One cannot replace that. Loneliness is a big issue. Migration is good for people who come from lower middle class families. It helps them get out of their financial issues but for a person who's well off in India and have a comfortable life- I am of the opinion that India is good and life won't be infinitely better in the west for them.

You are absolutely right ashish. If you have a comfortable life in india, it's no point going abroad facing hardship. It makes me laugh when some you tubers talk about toasters, electric kettle, washing machine, dishwasher etc as if we don't have all those in india. It's true you need to have a reasonable amount of money to have a decent life. It's necessary to have your own place to live. Interest on fixed deposit in bank is about 7 %. I suggest if you have some money sitting in savings account put it in fixed deposit even for a year or more when you're young. The Interest will cover your daily expenses leaving your capital intact. For 50 lacs fixed deposit @7% you will get about 30 thousand rupees a month.

It's not as simple as not having a sibling abroad to get settlement visa (adult dependent visa) for parents in UK. The struggle is real and nothing can buy your parents, your health and imagine living in your own country without any visa restrictions. To the guys who are interested to come here, remember your motherland is free to live forever and you have your parents there too. If you don’t work for a week here in a part-time job it will be hard to survive. So save enough money for your expenses before coming here and gain work experience in your field before coming here. It’s also a great idea to visit and personally talk to students before you come here. Stay strong bro and good luck to people coming here.
