I prefer BlueDriver. The Thinkcar is fussy to connect. It took me two hours. A call to the company just went to voice mail. OBDII was introduced in 1996. Thinkcar will only work on 2005 cars and newer. Thinkcar is a subscription service. The model 1s comes with a one year, one vehicle subscription, the model 1 only 60 days. Additional cars or extensions to the original period are $10/year. The $10 gets you all module scans and real time diagnostics. The BlueDriver all module scan may be limited compared to the Thinkcar but not by much. BlueDriver supports GM, Ford/Lincoln/Mercury, Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Plymouth, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti/Renault, BMW, Mini, Rolls Royce, Volkswagen, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley and Honda/Acura. That covers most cars sold in north America. For any car with an OBDII port you still get all the check engine codes, MIL status, freeze frame, mode 6, smog check, repair reports and live data. Bottom line: I believe the BlueDriver is easier to use and cheaper over time.

I agree with you 100%. I bought the Thinkcar and had trouble with it, installing vin, make, model, year and getting it to work. I bought the BlueDriver and it cost more, but no problem, installing the app, pairing or scanning the car. I'm still curious, what Thinkcar does better than Bluedriver. Probably the module control???

Does the scanner work with a Philippine 2018 Suzuki Vitara made in Hungary & exported around the world? I think the Vitara no longer sold in USA. Thanks, John in Leyte island, Philippines.

Just got my 1S. Doesn't work. Won't pair up with my phone. Blue light flashes tells me to unplug and plug back in....nothing happens. DUD!

Can this be connected to more than one device? I want to use the blackbox while viewing data through torque app on another phone.

So why isn't you or their website actually plugging it into a car with issues and and successfully diagnosing and repairing it? I have an 07 Lincoln Town Car limousine that the cruise control stopped working parking brake lamp is on a wrench is on the dash and the airbag light is also on no engine codes I trust this would get detailed enough to inform me what it is I'm reasonably sure the stop lamp switch has failed would this tell me that

Transmission Temp is one data stream under TCM, THINKCAR supports this feature by Remote Diagnostic.

Just received. Software update to fix Bluetooth issues. Also there is an additional .. Bluetooth fix....button in the app. Check it out. Hard to believe yours are not working!!check website,email them!!!

Beware stay away from this tool , there is an annual fee of $49.95 per manufacturer EVERY year for ever, not one time. for example if you want toyota & nissan software you will pay 50+50 = $100 every year

They must have sent you one that works, once i pair my 1s with my phone, the light turns blue, then turns off. All i could get this thing to do is read my vin, no other functions working. so far, it's a $39 paper weight.

Endless money pit, VIN has to be tied to 1 car more charges for more cars charges for updates etc, too many extra charges. its not really free to hold and to have , they will use it as endless money pit to enrich themselves
