My THINKTOOL Mini Model: TKT02 won’t power up. I see other people are having this issue. Here is a link to a KZbin video. I used the tool twice last year. It looks brand new. can this scan the original mileage/odometer? to know if the odometer is tampered or not?

i believe you can scan using smart scan and the scanner should tell you the vehicle information like VIN, ODO, and make and model.

I bought one and I hope you haven’t either. These are junk and customer service is horrible. Talked to a guy several times in the US. He was new and didn’t know anything. Said all the other customer service quit. He tried to help but all he could do was wanted the serial number and where I purchased the unit. He would then then say it was over his head. All he could do was pass on my information and someone would respond via email. After a couple more calls they respond and wanted same information I gave the live person All this through email. Would get an email back with broken English asking same questions. I thought problem was i need ed to spend $49.99 to upgrade, that made it worse an still doesn’t work every time I try to use it, it has me scan the same vehicle over and over. Software has been updated numerous time but is still junk. Anyone wanting to purchase, please purchase a different brand. You’ll thank me later

You are like me, purchased junk and they are terrible at customer service. They will only respond with broken English and blame it on a bunch of excuses. I truly don’t think their engineers know what their doing. I wasted the $49.99 gimmick thinking that was my problem. That made it worse and they can’t figure it out Good luck with yours I hope anyone reading this will stay away from Thinkcar and purchase a different brand
