Me too. My mother's passed away I'm her home almost 2 years ago. I still next door to her house and the dogs were with her when she passed away. And they sometimes go downtown her house. Which I have since sold her house since she passed away. Dogs know .

That last one broke my heart - Dogs are one of the most loyal animals. They're even more loyal than some humans... His reaction when he found the right spot without seeing anything there, then rolling there, but not stepping on the place, instead jumping over it. He's such a sweetheart.

It's not creepy or unnerving. Dogs have 300 million olfactory receptors, and have a sense of smell 100,000 times stronger than humans. We have 6 million receptors. It's amazing!

We lost our Mom this past Thanksgiving Day-2022 and the my little side kick, Banjo died on December 15th unexpectedly. He loved his Nana and stayed right by her side her last 6 months so I’m pretty sure he died of a broken heart I pray that they’re together now in a much better place 🫶🏼🙏🏻😞

There was a story about a man who got a dog from his father in (I believe it was) Pakistan. The man loved this dog and treated him well, but every day, the dog would run away, making the guy search for him. He was heartbroken, cause he thought the dog didn't like him. He eventually found the dog in a cemetery where they'd buried the man's dad, sleeping on his grave. Dogs are insanely loyal to their favorite people, even in death.

He just walks along her grave, takes a sniff and asks her to play with him. So theres a woman, talking to a dead dog and a living dog, who wants to play with a dead dog... We are mentally totally fine 😅

We lost our extra large economy sized golden retriever back in August 1996 and I just couldn’t bear nit having him with us. So I chose to have him cremated and we have his ashes alongside his last portrait the previous Christmas. He was my only dog ever but I know he’s in a happy place with lots of friends. I will never have another dog!

​@sandybruce9092 That's so sad that you won't get another dog! You should really think about adopting a pupper. Not only would you be saving a like, but he/she may save your heart too. I've had dogs in my life since I was born, and even though it's heart wrenching and it feels like your life will never be the same, saving a shelter dog is the greatest feeling in the whole world! They know you just saved their whole world and are soooo greatfull that they will love you so much for the rest of their lives! I lost one of my beautiful chihuahuas a year ago, and I lost her sister 2 months ago. I'm still grieving them both(the 1st one was 14 when I lost her, and her sister was 15 and ½), but I'm starting to look at shelter dogs because there's a huge hole in my life(and heart) that getting another dog will fill that space. Just think about it. Love & Blessings to you. ❤

We had a little chihuahua that did something similar. It was her and a big old black lab we'd had forever. The big lab would always take her spot on the couch til one day she runs to the door barking her head off. The big lab gets off the sofa to see what shes barking at and she comes tearing back into the living room to take his spot. There was nothing at the front door.

Однажды зимой, я отвела коров на водопой в реку, которая не замерзала. Потому что река образовалась из ключей бьющих из под земли. Так вот в этой реке плавала одинокая дикая утка. Она легла в воду вытянув шею как листочек и ее несло течение. А мой пёсик аккуратно подплыл и просо принюхивался. Он не пытался напасть, ему было любопытно. А птичка явно была напугана. Потом мы насладившись видом зимней горы и красивого неба, возвращались. А мой пес был весь в сосульках, но такой счастливый 😢. Я так скучаю по ним 😭.
