usually you got paid due to the risk you took. but isn't not in China. these China linemen roughly made 1-1.5k usd a month. because those companies are all state owned and you can not argue with a state owned company in China, the government stands for these companies, also unions are controlled by communist government.

@cujojefferson3778 Жыл бұрын
@@bobby_hill8357 I think you're missing the point bud. I completely understand what you're trying to say but a lineman can do anything an electrician can do. I am a former electrician and yes, the job is an important one but the dangers and elements that lineman are exposed to is the exact reason for my comment. Blizzards, hurricanes, tornados, tsunamis etc.. wiring a grid in a structure with no current running through it and hoping when the linemen feed power to that structure by tapping into an average 700 amp, 380,000 Volt power line and hoping nothing arcs or blows up once power is fed is very minute compared to what these men risk and endure to keep the power coming through. We would be lost without our linemen. All the wire in your home or business is completely useless unless these men feed the power to your service. Think of how you feel when in freezing temperatures and your home is 50 degrees at best when those light kick on and that heat starts running. A crew of men way colder than you brought your house back to life. Credit where it's due. You would all be lost without those brave men.
@bobby_hill8357

@@cujojefferson3778 I am a lineman in southeast Louisiana, where we get hurricanes almost every year. What we do would be useless without the guys who know how to make the power applicable to business and home use. Your comment makes unfair implications and you shouldn't say it like that.

@@bobby_hill8357 hey buddy, no need to get into a semantic argument about this. Electricians are the lake and linemen are the river that feeds it. A balance. Linemen have a very dangerous job that benefits us all. As do electricians. Credit where it's due.

Amen, God is watching over their lives. He cares about all life, but humans were made in His image and He loves us very much. Jesus tells like this... Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. “Whoever acknowledges Me before others, I will also acknowledge before My Father in heaven. But whoever disowns Me before others, I will disown before My Father in heaven. -Matthew 10: 28-33

@dream9187 That's a good question. I love being a passenger on flights. I've always reserved a window seat. However, I'd never have the courage to skydive. Yeah, it's the horrific fall that terrifies me. I feel safe inside the plane, as long as the engines aren't on fire, or I find out a Flat-Earther is in the cockpit.
