Why when doing Count Basie inspired scores is the guitar written 'a la Freddie Green' yet the guitar is totally inaudible (I suspect not even present) in the demo recordings? Freddie Green's role was crucial to the 'Basie rhythm section sound' but often seems ignored in these Hal Leonard demo tracks. It would be great if you could add a guitarist (with knowledge of this style) to your studio roster so as to serve as an inspiration to the students of the world who listen to and rehearse with these tracks. Having said that, this chart is beautiful and we love playing it.
