Ever since we first played Herd Mentality for the first time, my family and I started Mooing at each other when someone takes too long in *any* game. Do not just Herd Mentality. Taking too long to put a settlement down in Catan? Moo. Taking too long to make an accusation in Cluedo? Moo. Taking too long to decide which tule to take in Alhambra? Moo. It adds a certain level of chaotic entertainment to any game.

Ok so the whole ‘zilaphone’ bit was so so hilarious and all in good fun! But also, a good opportunity to raise awareness of people living with dyslexia. It is an acute learning disability that affects around 10% of the population with varying degrees and in more ways than just “letters getting jumbled”. While some are able to “grow out of it” / learn to work around it, many are left struggling with tasks that involve reading, writing and spelling, especially with education systems that don’t properly cater towards neurodivergent people. Please understand that an inability to read/write is not a reflection of intelligence and people who do struggle with it are not dumb, they are NORMAL!

As a fellow dyslexic, I can totally relate to Angela’s mix up. As you said it’s not just “letters getting mixed up” it also can be struggling to understand vowel sounds (like using the wrong one in a word) and struggling with phonetics. It’s not mixing up the letters of an already correctly spelled word but often exactly what Angela did. When you already have a hard time with spelling rules words like Xylophone can really throw you off
