As a KJ main, the fact that one charge of his rechargable signature can break the lockdown will kinda suck. Wasn't KJ bordeline unplayable facing breach when his afterchock could break the lockdown on its own?

A lot of people complaining he's OP already, but I think this is the only change they'll make. They've already reduced ability damage against other abilities for a bunch of other agents, I imagine they'll do the same here. Damage stays the same normally, but does x% less vs enemy utility

​@@frost9681 I mean those rockets already do a crazy amount of damage (70 per tick) so why not just reduce that and if that's still not enough then they can do something with those % that you are talking about.

​@Richard_Deak a valorant team comp needs info and flashes. Tejo basically gives none in exchange for very strong abilities that are used for taking space. Makes sense that his damaging ability would do a lot of damage since that's basically all he's got. The drone is pretty good tho.

For a recharge ability it's way too OP 2 rockets, 70 dmg/ticks that even stack if you place them on the same spot...it's 420 (nice) damages total what the actual F Just to compare with other initiators: Gekko molly: 105 to 180 Max Breach aftershock: 160max Kayo molly: 100to 240depending if you stand in the center or not Sova dart: 75 Max per dart if you hit perfectly in the center, 150max But it's abilities you have to place yourself or linups, and they're not on recharge, and it's only one place you can hit Killjoy ult is 200 btw For me it's gonna be nerfed to 60dmg/tick and not stackable or just 1 rocket or 2stackable rocket but only 30 damage

as a brimstone main looking at the signature in lamps- you basically get the good half of a brim ult for free, every round, and on a cooldown.

I am thinking in ranked games where people just rushes one sites, an tejo ult and vyse wall is just too powerful. Imagine on haven C site which enemies are coming C long, the jett entries and the wall rises, at this moment tejo ults from C long orb towards the site. Its just deadly. Even the jett can be dealed with by vyse flash and razorvines. This combo is crazy deadly.

Yeah and it's fun as hell. It costs and ult and a specified team up with an agent that isn't that crazy on there own. Makes sense you can do things like that. You could probably do this with a brim ult as well already and kj mollies too. To be fair no where near this scale.

yeah the only "downside" to some of these combos is the timing of deploying the missiles but one word is a fix for that coordination also remember that one missile can destroy kj lockdown so that's just a hard counter

Honestly, my first opinion seeing Tejo on Bind was that he could potentially compete with Raze in terms of zoning utility which would open the meta on Bind to be something like double initiator + double smoke and sentinel. Idk if that sounds crazy or not but I'd love to read some thoughts on this

Eh i feel like he enables raze more. Cuz his rockets can break trips while zoning the enemy. (Alternatively, you use his rockets like youd use a raze nade and instead use the nade to clear trips). Also i dont think were ever gonna see a team go no duelist on bind because of b. Going B without a dive agent is asking to get packed up in a box and sent home

not really. he is just the only one who can reasonably survive his kit, but then again, he can drone you and then send the utility.

I had a feeling after TMV made the video about agents. I knew Tejo would be a strong one. But I wasn't expecting him to be the strongest explosive agent. I hope it won't have a similar situation when Fade came out. With the KJ ult, she will become less picked if her ult will be easiest to break because of Tejo's grenates alone. I feel Nerfs are coming 😂 soon.

Nah kj is still the second best sentinel and it's not even a close call. Vyse has basically no passive info besides her wall which actives once. Her flash is good but needs to be set up right to get value as a flash or used aggressively for info. Cypher is obviously the best but kj is definitely still better on haven, abyss, split, and ascent.

Tejo countering kj util isn't that crazy since he also has a drone for countering a Cypher playing off a trip or a vyse wall to trap duelists.

oke this is a bit of a nonsance. If you burn your entire utility of 3-4 teammates for a single guy, then you will loose the round. The only times i solo ult someone with brim is to force them to engage or to get rid of enemy ult, like chamber, if i dont feel like fighting an AWP. Youre recommending burning brim ult, three nades etc? Then what do you have for the remaining of the round? why not send tejo ult in lamps just to be sure as well, just for that one guy and double make sure with raze and sova ults? Just to really check if you got the single guy. Hope it wasnt yoru or omen who teleported out tho.

@@azzix45I’d argue only the rockets need a nerf on their damage to abilities like kj ult. His ultimate is quite slow and can easily be dodged & he can’t take the place of a primary initiator since he lacks flashes.

@@pengu0- depends on map, you can easily run something like split (cypher, tejo, raze, omen, yoru/skye/kayo) gives you a ton of info, flashes, or clearing util. bind (raze, tejo, brim, fade, viper). Haven (tejo, raze, omen/astra, KJ/cypher, Sova/Fade). He can realistically become amazing on a lot of the maps. Even on something like pearl you can kinda default A a lot of rounds and have (tejo, Yoru, Astra, Fade, KJ) tejo spaces his mollies to cover all of pit, you seize kj molly back site and yoru popflash out. This character is going to be insane in setplay

Despite the lamps bit defiantly being a problem, the overall theme of your video that his nades are oppressive and you can nade everywhere is already a problem but you just often lack other util if you do.

in a controlled and competitive environment you wont. and even if it gets you just some space and not even the whole round it can provide a huge advantage. + not to mention you can do this multiple times in a match without much effort and taking space.

@@xfrankenstein6981 especialy since on a map like bind, lamps is by far the most contested and most important part of taking control of A site, this is why the viper wall down a short is so strong, being able to flush out the entirety of lamps on a 45 second cooldown is insane for both taking and retaking A. It's kinda a similar thing to pearl, where keeping control of pit is very important for defense and you'll commonly see people just sit in pit and let the enemy plant while trying to spam them, now imagine with 1 piece of util you get every round every 45 seconds you can flush the entirety of pit, its so insane

The one thing that really annoys me about the agent design is that he counters KJ ult with one of the his two rockets. And it's not like raze nade where you need to be close and have lineups. You can do it from wherever and since the KJ ult shows where it is you'll never miss. AND IT RECHARGES. A rechargable free ability counters an ult every single time. Like wtf

In my opinion you are so wrong about Abyss for the same reason he is strong on Bind. On Abyss there are only so many places you can stand as a defender that are not an island. Tejo can just clear B backsite or Tetris by himself. In combo with Breach this will be just stupid amount of util. Same goes for retake, either clear the spots attackers commonly play on site OR put the rockets on the spam spots so you can defuse safely. I think he might be must pick on most maps

I think Fracture should B s-tier He can clear out a lot of spots as he can on any other map, and remember that Killjoy is a pretty popular pick which Tejo HARD COUNTERS

I mean, yeah your combos are possible... But the communication here is crazy. Wall triggers -> Vyse reacts and tells Tejo -> Tejo has to react and use E -> E has to travel to the location. This has to go off without a hitch and near perfect timing for it to work. Otherwise, the wall goes down and you've wasted a bunch of util I reckon a majority of the value will come from how well the concuss combos with duelists and how good the drone is at what it's supposed to do
