Sometimes after deaths the messages that appear sometimes say something along the lines of "All Hail the Prototype." Then the tape at the end mentions "The Prototype." So looks like he'll be the big bad at the end. He seems to be a more violent version of Huggy Wuggy? It seemed like Poppy was sending you deeper into the facility because she wanted you to (at least eventually) take down the Prototype. I don't know, but there is a bunch of mystery around him, and I find it shocking that this sequel was able to make gamers miss Huggy Wuggy chasing you through a cramped vent. I think the reason the final tape called Huggy Wuggy the ideal was because Huggy Wuggy didn't have any conciouness of his own; he was simply a security system AI that you accidentally activate. Things like The Prototype, Mommy Long Legs, and even Poppy are much more frightening.

Actually Huggy Wuggy should have his own conciouness cuz the tape says he's loyal so have a brain and it would make more sense if the factory suppose to do these test for returning humans back from death and as Prototype have smaller number means Huggy is a later test and it also means they achive some development and using Huggy as a security(first tabe in first game also mentions that they have a special security system) guard. Also there r some blood and fur at the water level when u look left at the room u got toy to open other door u can see it goes to a pipe. Huggy should be alive. I mean instead of attack us he can help us against Prototype, or maybe not we cant know that right now.

What I believe is that Poppy is Elliot Ludwig’s daughter, who was the child that died. Then, when it happened, Elliot changed what his factory was for, he asked his science team to try to find out how to bring people back to life. So what they did, is they practiced on project 814, which were rats. They dipped them in a special poppy flower’s water so that he could come back to life. During that time, Elliot died and so then he said he wanted his body to be used on the experiment 1006, so the bones we see from the prototypes arm, are Elliot Ludwig’s. The experiment worked, and Elliot was then a part of experiment 1006! One bad thing though, that Elliot did not want, was the orphan program. When the workers would bring in their adopted children, they would leave them at the daycare, where the children would do tests. Children who failed them would go home, others would go to a science lab to be tested on. Children were given a toy to bond with while they went through horrible, horrible pain as a surgery was done or something like that. While it happened, the soul would go into the toy, and that’s how Huggy, and etc were made. Like how it says on the Mommy Long Leg’s sheet, “Subject: Marie Payne” so, the human she was, was Marie Payne. When the daughter became poppy, she was locked up. When we freed her, experiment 1006 found out. 1006 used other animals to upgrade his body, like how mommy long legs said “He’ll make me a part of him!” So now, Elliot or experiment 1006 wants to come get Poppy, and he will use the other living toys to help him. I think he will be the final boss, who wants to get poppy.

You have actually missed a tape, its the cyan tape. It is located in the workshop and the TV is near where you turn on the crane. Also, in the area where you are waiting for the door to open , you can't quickly go to the spot in the middle of the hallway where the doors are gated up, but sneak right there and mommy will go ahead of you. In the lovely cut-scene where awesome Irish man talks about the thing that’s “fifty feet long with a thousand legs”, I got bothered when Think said that it was Mommy Long Legs when in fact he is talking about the antagonist of the third Mini-game, statues. The creature that is fifty feet LONG with a THOUSAND LEGS. Is the bone loving pugapillar. Sorry if this sounded like I was calling him out- I was just sayin.

Ok I have to put something together: In chapter 1: the grey tape says something about the prototype. Many of the Poppy Playtime community thought it was Huggy Wuggy but when they saw the claw in chapter 2 it was totally different, that claw is part of the prototype A.K.A, 1-0-0-6. So, I have a theory on this, so in the grey tape in chapter 1 we hear the person make his final log about this monstrosity while in the background you hear some sort of arson-like chaos, all caused by this experiment. Now the prototype (in my thoughts) had full robot limbs when it first broke out of its pod, when some people (maybe security) got hold of it and started to damage it so it’s limbs were torn apart except for an arm, along with a body (still alive though). So then the prototype had mind for replacements. In the chapter 1 ending, we see that huggy fell after the player dropped a box on the path. When it landed, the prototype found its corpse and decided to rip a leg off to make it a bit complete, despite knowing that it would be unable to walk with just one leg. Mommy long legs caught sight of the prototype with huggy’s leg, worried that she would make for another body part. At the end of chapter 2 we see mommy saying “YOU’LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM” while she gets shredded. After she dies we see the prototypes original arm grabbing the mommy, knowing that it has found another victim. Maybe he has a new head or arm, who knows? Now to my prediction, I think we won’t see proto until the final chapter, as it would need all its limbs to properly function. And as something with a creepy name it would be the final boss fight in all of poppy playtime. It took a long time to write so I hope you guys enjoyed this.

I think Marcus/Jack is talking about seeing PJ Pugapillar, not Mommy Long Legs. You can see Huggy Wuggy somewhere during the hide and seek chase. Also, one of my sisters told me that the Prototype is Elliot Ludwig. He was making scientists turning people into toys (Poppy was his daughter named Poppy, Mommy Long Legs was someone close to her, same for Huggy Wuggy, and some employees were just normal toys and that why the toys everywhere are bloody.) And eventually Elliot made the scientists turn him into a toy, that's why the Prototype is super smart. And every time you die, it talks about the prototype saving you and that "we need to leave". Honestly I’ve stepped on so many pointy things that it doesn’t bother me anymore. Right, so the prototype which is tape 6/6(the last sixth tape), if u look at it really close, then you see 5 long long fingers which took mommy long leg's dead corpse. So doesn't that mean the prototype is that hands that basically took mommy long legs away from us cause we don't really see those hands until her death. could it be that those hands is really the prototype??
