I know it’s been 2 years, but let me explain what’s happening with the Curfew Bots. The Bacons are captured and knocked into a state of unconsciousness or death. They are dragged to a factory where curfew bots are made, and get their hands and legs removed. Their bodies are then modified to make the Bacons think Curfew Bots are… bots, but that’s not the case. Remember EnderFred? He made something on TEA and Mech soldiers, and basically, the mech soldiers can’t control their actions. This is the same thing with Curfew Bots.
