Don't use NT-H1 on laptops. It's too runny which means as the die slightly changes shape when the CPU heats up it will push the paste out. A thicker paste like Arctic MX-4 will lose very little performance over a few months, NT-H1 is just fucked after a week.

agreed, MX-4 is a good choice for T430. Safe to say that it outperformed Thermal Grizzly on my i7 3520M/NVS5400M setup.

I managed to upgrade my shitty screen on my t430 to a 1080p but by doing so my lid latch mechanism no longer works... I think because of the thick controller cable and length issue the palm rest doesn't sit flush despite my efforts..

El fusible f7 en la placa madre man. Tenemos muchas t430 y ese fusible es bien sensible a la hora de que cambiamos una pantalla o solamente porque si, se funden.

Tambien puedes probar otra pantalla, pero si sigue en lo mismo efectivamente es el fusible f7.

Hello, I have an upgraded screen with IPS however 1080p is not an option. Just the old 1600x900. I tried upgrading the graphics and monitor driver, no changes. Ideas?
