Dude, this is insane. I had some shallow but nasty looking white scratch on one of my studio monitors with black mate finish (I did it accidently while moving), tried everything, it just stayed there. I watched your video thinking "there's just no freaking way it works" but what the hell, let's try it. IT'S GONE. Completely. I can't tell now where exactly it was. I did all the surface to freshen it up, and both monitors look like brand new. Thank you.

@@TheEtherealNebulous i still use this nivea cream, but much less than pictured here. you want something with the microcrystalline wax in it. the silver and blue tin will not work since it is water based, and this is wax based. i now use an alchohol wipe after the cream application . its amazing how much grime comes off with the cream and alchohol

It's ironic because I have a can of nivea sitting in my dresser for six months because the damn cream won't absorb into my skin and I look like a ghost, but i recently got a t-series thinkpad that now has a few light marrs on it, not enough to warrant a polish but enough to use the cream to make them go again. I'm going to try it now, i'm sure it's going to work wonderfully. I never noticed that the thinkpads had specs in the surface until i was carrying mine outta the office at night and saw silver specs in it bouncing off the light. awesome video.

Nice choice of music. I would maybe think about using some kind of paste wax (furniture or automotive polish), but would never have thought to use Nivea cream. How did you come up with the idea? I wonder how long does the laptop keep smelling nice? My W530 and X230 lids are not too dirty but not perfect, I feel rather tempted to try out your method (I even have all the stuff on hand), on the other hand maybe it seems less attractive to thieves if the laptop looks old and scratched?
