@@welshskies there is literally nothing special about arch linux aside from the requirement that a user be able to read. if all else fails, just use an install script.

It wasn't extremely expensive. Around 400 Euros all included. Came with an almost dead battery, no RAM and no HDD though

They work, however Windows detects two mirrored screens, so power consumption is (allegedly) higher.

You can also buy a 1080p 13,3" version of the X220 and X230. They are named X320 & X330 There is a Reddit thread with user nkwsky saying there were 60 orders for the price of 600$ for a barebone if I remember correctly!

thats only the 12.5" with a modded bezels are for sell. the 13.3" ones, only a few did that after removing almost everything on the sides, leaving only the panel itself.
