Three stalkers - The Three crones, or Furies, since the show is going with mythology vibes. Also ties in with the promotional photo, where one of them looks like a spider (weaving the thread of fate). The dead bird is specifically posed as a dead chick in a nest, so something dead in an otherwise safe space. Perhaps the hooded figure from the beginning is Ana herself - wouldn't be the first time they used time travel to try and prevent things. By having Ana sign a doll of herself, she's making an idol, something to be used in a ritual. Also, different colored eyes (like one of the dolls had) have had the meaning of witchcraft since ancient Greece. The whole thing reminds me heavily of Rosemary's Baby.

I agree with u 100% I can tell you why the seasons from Hotel to NYC was lacking excluding Apocalypse because Ryan and Brad was working on other projects like Scream Queens, American Horror Stories, Ratched w/ Sarah Paulsen and Hollywood so they didn't really focus much on their baby😂

Yes! Dex seemed off the entire episode! He really seems uninvested Anna as a person. Also, the weirdness of the two women he was always with that were his deceased wife’s friends. But I do think it could be a decoy because the whole “husband is in on” thing is way to similar to Rosemary’s Baby and I don’t think they would follow the plot line THAT closely.

It might just be me, but this season is giving me AHS Cult vibes. There seems to be a conspiracy of at least one or two cults, both messing with Anna’s mind. Dex seems to be the most obvious, but I also think Anna’s PR has more cult involvement. I’m probably completely wrong, but those are my impressions so far.

I was predicting a rise in pregnancy horror, more so in the realm of Rosemary's Baby after Roe vs Wade was overturned. Spoilers for a classic you really should have seen by now, but before the Coven recruited Guy and Rosemary for the plan, the quirky couple were housing (holding captive) a homeless woman for their plan. She figures out what she's carrying, and can't get an abortion, so she ends her pregnancy by jumping out of the window. Thus the coven has this too good to be true vacancy in the apartment building, and Rosemary is forced into her place. She is gaslit by everyone in her life to go along with their plan. I know this season might be based off of that other book, and wouldn't want to get too close to the Murder House pregnancy plot line either, but I am picking up on similar vibes across the seasons.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS (I read Delicate Condition) The hooded figure is likely Cora, the Black woman in the promo trailer who works as a receptionist. In the book, Dex is cheating on Anna with Cora as she goes through IVF, and Cora sneaks in saying "baby" thinking that she is talking to Dex, not about Anna's baby. Cora also believes that Dr. Hill (who the show gender-swapped, likely to be reminiscent of Rosemary's Baby to add another layer of horror) is a part of some cult giving up babies to witches, so she messes up everything to do with Anna's pregnancy. It turns out that Dr. Hill does indeed sell information to witches, but these witches are actually seeking desperate women to use their magic to impregnate them. In fact, it's probably why they had Anna sign the doll in the first place in the show (perhaps it's part of the spell?) It turns out that Cara Delevingne's character Ivy (who is named-swapped from Meg in the book) is one of those witches, along with Siobhan, and the dolls are actually protection spells to remove the pain from Anna, but she keeps destroying the spell by removing the dolls, which increases the pain of her magic-induced pregnancy along with the hallucinations. In her hallucinations, Anna goes into a blind rage and kills Dex. Oh, and Siobhan has cancer, so the pregnancy spell drains her remaining life force and kills her, but the child Anna bears is a reincarnation of her (this is a spell she has performed multiple times, which is told through the story of women going through these absurd pregnancies and extremely unethical experimentation), and Anna becomes a part of the group of witches, an acclaimed actress, and helps other women. And Io Preecher and Anna's online hater are just normal people. Io is a conspiracy theorist who makes the coven look terrible, and Anna's online hater is just a teenage prankster lol Maybe they'll make the story take a more sinister turn and perhaps integrate other seasons, like Coven, with the Voodoo-esque magic and the obvious presence of witches, or Apocalypse, having Anna NOT birth a healthy baby Siobhan Alcott, but instead something like the Antichrist or a monster. However, I think that would detract from the very apt commentary on women's health (and how it often lags behind in modern medicine & was built on the bodies--literally--of Black women slaves, who weren't given anesthesia) and experiences that the story presents. They already kind of did that by making Talia a baby-hater (in Delicate Condition, Talia discusses the extreme disparity of quality care that Black women face, and is going through IVF herself and is a candidate for the witches' maternal magic)

I think Dex sold his soul to the Devil, just like John Casavettes in Rosemarys Baby. The mysterious older woman is a witch this art world centered around Dex's gallery is a coven. So far im loving it. And i dont think its going to be paint by number's black & white. I think its going to have plenty of twist & turns. The most excited about character is Ivy i want to know everything about her.

I think the one blue eye is a continuity error or some weird blue easter egg I don't understand yet. All the eyes are a bit different on the dolls. Like different shades of brown cuz the first doll she signs has lighter brown eyes cuz you can see the pupil. But on the other ones the brown is darker and you can't see the pupil
