Third Katyayanidas Bhattacharya Memorial Lecture (2019),Dr Sudhir Chakraborty at Ramakrishna Mission

The third Memorial Lecture of late Prof. Katyayanidas Bhattacharya (1917-1966) was held on 7th December 2019 at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Kolkata. The topic of the lecture was 'Banglar Lokayat Jivan'. The main Speaker, Professor Dr. Sudhir Chakraborty, is an authority on the subject. Swami Suparnanandaji, the Secretary Maharaj of the Ramakrishna Mission was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Prof. Prabal Kumar Sen, former Head of the Dept. of Philosophy of University of Calcutta, and a favourite student of Prof. Katyayanidas Bhattacharya in Presidency College in early 1960s, had presided over the function.
