That really sucks. They had some awesome tunes on this show. To this day when I hear Battersea I think of this show. And Angel by Massive Attack. Even season 6 had some scary violent scenes. Less FDNY ppl after 9/11 sadly😢

I had just adopted a cat. I didn't like the name they gave him. ( Big Daddy) I was watching Third Watch and every time Bosco was called he would look at the TV and meow. So I looked at him and asked him if he wanted that name. He licked my hand so that became his name. He lived to be 21 years old.

Thanks for making video. Bosco's character is awesome. One moment when Faith and Bosco are in the squad car eating burger and fries and Faith gets upset that he ate all of her fries. The back and forth bickering is the epitome of their relationship in the show!

Maurice "Bosco" Boscorelli is an NYPD officer who worked at the 55th Precinct. He was portrayed by Jason Wiles and stayed on the show for all six seasons. Bosco joined the United States Army Rangers and served for a few years before returning to New York, where he joined the Police Academy. Here he met Faith, who would become his partner at the 55th Precinct. The two worked together, although they often disagreed.

And to think Eddie Cibrian was originally supposed to play Bosco… He could’ve played the, shall we say exterior/surface of the character; the hard ass, rough and tough cop. I don’t think he could’ve played the more vulnerable, emotional side of Bosco, though, which is why I’m glad they ultimately went with Jason Wiles; Cibrian was great as Jimmy, though.

A thing I noticed in my binge-watch (on Roku) is that it seems some episodes are not shown in sequence. they were filmed . Bosco's hair changed noticably from week to week more than once - from short and reddish to longer and black, then close cut again

So long ago but if I remember rightly it turned out he was in the car with them!!! What I can remember is the controversy that went with that episode....do-gooders came out everywhere and said if there was to be re-runs that that particular scene had to edited out!!!
