Yeap, I've reached that point where it is time to get off the trail and move on. D.S. life is no joke, but now your next post hopefully will be less stressful and the path to SFC and MSG is going to open up to you.

Yep! We’ll see what happens. How long u been on the trail?

@@ThirdsLynch My father was a drill for four years. Everything emotion you are going threw he went threw in Jackson. By the time he got to Reception Battalion he was closing on a fifth year as a drill and command ordered that he be sent to Germany. Mostly because you can't be a drill at that time past fours years. He got some hate from SNCOs about his medallion but it actually opened a lot of doors to CSM for him. You need a reset and after the stress of training troops your next assignment needs to be something that is going to motivate and hope you as you move into SFC and higher. My father was an Engineer and loved working in the field, but the higher you go after drill the more you will find a desk somewhere. Stay focus and motivated is a good creed because every soldier needs that when dealing with Army Command. Challenge yourself and look beyond the desk. You never leave the trail and it will be part of you until your last days on Earth. You are stronger and a leader then you where before you got on the trail. Now use it and SFAM !

@@Saanonymous80 okay my bad well from experience I got pretty injured with a few fractures in basic training not really sure how to happened just started not being able to walk got sent to sick call and eventually I was told I had stress fractures and a fracture in my left and right legs I was given the choice to continue training or get chapterd out or choose continue and than I ended up in ftu and was their for to long . Than finally is was time to back to basic , my first run of basic I made it to blue phase but not sure what happened but they gave me the choice again to get a medical chapter or start right at shark attack and I said fuck it I have been here to long I'm gonna finish this so started all over again the second time though felt like nothing to me it just felt normal it was honestly fun the second time .. got through it all and did about 8 years in active duty so ftu really is great for people to get a second chance

Pt in the pool. They do exercises that are lower impact but still allow trainees to get some kind of workout with flexibility.

Remember, Drill - DISCIPLINE FIRST! Stay strong 💪🏾, focused, and consistent. Some choose to play, thus messing with your training program. You know what comes next. They abuse the privilege, they pay the price! Train them hard, train them right! SFAM, DRILL! Put the fatigue on them!

Inside PT in winter what the eff is that let alone in a pool. My drills would have me out rolling around in the snow doing front, back, goes. Also cell phones they won’t know the shear joy of standing in line for the pay phone.

Wait, what? No PT in inclement weather? DS, the Army's going soft! LOL j/k. Also, that tired feeling you get? It's what I call 'mental recoil'. You get that on days when you've been super productive. Just like your weapon recoils when you fire it off and eventually overheats, so too does your brain. You've got to find ways to deal with the exhaustion: change up your daily routine in small ways. Pop in a hot shower or two or quick power nap in between busy times. It allows you to 'mentally reset' and cope with what's going on.

Drill Sargent, ftu is the best drama on fort Leonardwood. If you can do anything to improve it you’re doing a great job!
